It looks authentic.
We used it for the Easter “empty tomb” display. Similar to A Christmas cre’che.It’s the Roman guard soldiers Pilate placed at the tomb of Jesus Christ to prevent anyone from stealing the body of Jesus claiming Resurrection.Boy, were those soldiers amazed!

This is exactely as pictured. A great addition to my collection of all things Roman... The detail is excellent and the piece has no defects ( like pieces of plastic from a form showing). The paint is perfect. Very Happy with this.

He does love the look of them though
If your child wants to play with this rather than just look at it it will soon lose its weapons. My son has lost all the weapons off his toy soldiers by this company. He does love the look of them though, and that is important to him. The durability of the rest of the soldier is pretty good. I don't see the legs breaking off anytime soon.
