Comfortable ankle support (not fully rigid), easily fits in shoe. Adds stability and compression.
I will start off with - I really like this ankle support for my sprained ankle. I sprained my ankle jumping out of the back of our truck onto unstable ground wearing rubber boots, yah, I should know better... It popped pretty loud and instantly swelled on the outer ankle bone, so I hobbled inside, put ice on it, and hit chatGPT to learn what to look for and best practices for managing it. One of the suggests was this specific brace. After reading the description and reviews and comparing it with a handful of others, this did look like a good option. I ordered it for arrival the next day and kept off the foot for the first two days. On day two, swelling had spread and bruising set in. After reading the reviews and product description, I was a little unsure if this brace was going to have the quick laces, or traditional laces; I am very pleased that it has the quick laces where I have two pull tabs that velcro down to tighten the shoe strings. This greatly adds to a quick on and off, and comfort as there is a strap that goes over all of this as well so no shoe string knot is a bonus. This brace loosens up quite a bit and is easy to put on, even easy to get over my trashed foot without disturbing it. snugging it up feels good, it applies a fairly even compression which is good. I guess I lucked out considering how bad I popped my ankle, on day 3 I was back to work and on my feet about half the day. I wore this throughout the whole day without any comfort issues. At the end of the day when I remove it, my lower leg is a little deformed from the straps and compression, and being on my feet all day, but no issue, this goes away after getting off my feet and relaxing. NOTE- this is not a fully rigid brace like a boot, you could still roll your ankle again with this on. I would describe the roll support like a really good pair of high top boots that are laced up, or maybe even a little better. I was a little nervous at first since my ankle was a mess, but I took it easy and didn't have any issues. If you need to fully stabilize and immobilize your ankle from any twisting, you probably need a rigid boot, not this brace. I can also still bend my ankle forward/backward fairly well with this brace on, it does restrict movement some, like driving a car with this on your right foot is do-able but a little weird. Again, this is not an immobilizer. Despite my picture, I wear a sock under the brace and would recommend doing the same. Summary, this is an easy to wear, comfortable stability and compression brace that has been very helpful for my severe sprain. It was worth every penny and more.

Light weight and very supportive.
This brace was recommended by my doctor as I did not want to have surgery to replace my ankle. After two knee replacements in three years, I was not ready for ankle surgery. This brace is amazing, it is comfortable and so supportive. I can walk so much further in comfort than I could before wearing this brace. It is a bit bulky for some shoes, but it is worth finding the right shoe to wear with it to be able to take walking tours and not be limping at the end of the walk. It is very easy to wash, I just put it in a lingerie bag and wash with my jeans. dries very well in dryer and not shrinkage. I wear it around the house, shopping, when travel. Just be aware it will set off the metal detector at airport TSA check. So I just take it off before entering TSA check so they can run it through the scanner. I love that I can walk long distances and not be limping at the end. I do recommend that the maker add better directions on how to put the brace on as the directions are very small black and white pictures, which do not show the detail needed to put the brace on. I had to search the internet to find directions that were easy read and showed some details.

Excellent ankle brace
This brace was recommended by my doctor for recovery/stability after ankle injury. Great quality and easy to use. Make sure you size it correctly.

Easy to use but a little tricky to find the right size if you're in between
I found it easy to use and put on. I am sized on the cusp between small and medium, and they advise if you have a wide foot to size up; however, I think it would've fit a little better if I had sized down. I normally wear a 7-1/2 wide and my ankle circumference measurement was a 12".

Great for support after cast removal
This brace was recommended by my orthopedic PA for me to wear after six weeks of wearing a cast post a distal fibula fracture (ankle). Initially I was challenged with putting the brace on, but after watching a video, it was easy. The speed lacing system works well and the brace performed very well for my need of a bit of extra support. Wearing the brace for sleeping decreased the pain I experienced when I involuntarily moved my foot while sleeping. (My first night without the cast I didn't wear the brace for sleeping--big mistake!) I wore the brace almost 24/7 for ten days and during the day for the following six days and now I'm on my own! Excellent value as well.

Not exactly a “speed lacer”
This brace was like a Chinese puzzle box when I unboxed it. Very confusing at first. Once in place it is fine but it takes time to breakdown and set back up. Not exactly a “put on and go brace.

Great ankle stabilizer
This ASO was a godsend after I sprained my ankle. It's the same as the one you'd get at your doctor's office, but much cheaper. Provided much-needed stability for my grade 2 sprain and still fit into my regular tennis shoes (with laces loosened). Highly recommend this product.

Poor fit
Brace doesn’t fit well at the heal even after following the measurement guide. It’s way too large and I have to fold it to get it into a tennis shoe. That makes it extremely tight and uncomfortable. Also the directions are difficult to understand and it took quite a while to figure out how to use the long straps that wrap around the bottom of the foot.
