Promate Snorkeling Gear Scuba Dive Panoramic Mask Dry Snorkel Set (9980)

I was hesitant to purchase a mask without trying it on first. But the price did it, as I do get a load of company year round where I live, I figured if it didn't work for ME, I would add it to my box-of-toys for visitors to use! Received the snorkel and mask FAST! (great shipping, thank you) and took them out to play this morning. When I opened the package, I placed the mask on my face (expecting a poor fit) and inhaled through my nose, without benefit of straps, and lo and behold! A perfect seal & fit! Now, of course, we are all not made the same and we have different sized faces, but for me, I got lucky. It is quite comfy on my face. The snorkel is very easy to use as well, one simple exhale to clear water out. I have paid upwards to $200 for a quality mask/snorkel, and this was the 1st time I bought a SET, and a set for this low of a price. I am stunned and happy!

I purchased this product because of the purge system in the nose. No one likes having water in their mask but i find it inevitable and was thrilled to have an easy way to clear this. My boyfriend also purchased a mask with this same purge feature from US DIVERS.The dry snorkel works great and the mask is fairly easy to adjust with a good seal around the face.The reason for the 2 star is the purge feature in the nose is a very very hard plastic. After snorkeling for 20 minutes I had to stop as the plastic piece was pushing up into my nose making it extremely painful. I tried it again the following day. Attempted to reposition the mask etc, anything to make it usable, but nothing worked. I ended up purchasing a new mask while on vacation so I could enjoy snorkeling. My BF's mask with the nose purge was a soft plastic and extremely comfortable.If you intend to snorkel longer than 20 minutes i would highly suggest a different mask

The mask had water marks on the lens when it arrived, and the packaging was disheveled. I suspect it had already been used by someone previously. Yuck. Also, the clip that holds the mask and snorkel together has a curve to it that was a little uncomfortable.I didn't have time to return it before leaving for vacation. I used it in Hawaii for snorkeling on the surface of the ocean. The snorkel and mask both worked well, with no leaks.

i don't think i bought the right sizing. some water got into the mask and up my nose. its seems to be nice quality just make sure to buy the right size.

Went for a dive today and put this mast and snorkel to the test. The mask fit well. no tunnel vision any more. plenty of light. The down side was the snorkel clip, it just didn't hold the snorkel in place as well as the old style Lupe type.This was my first dry snorkel it took a few minutes to get used to it but it worked just fine.

Great mask and the snorkel is perfectly shaped to contour with the mask and head. Wider range of sight and no side blindness. Would highly recommend and good price.

This diving equipment is my first since joining a diving class with IDEA. My intuition never put me wrong when choosing this brand compares to more popular and most advertise ones. I highly recommended this product to no-vice and even veteran divers alike to try this themselves and see the craftmanship at a very good price.
