Not only works, but so easy you’ll wonder why you ever paid someone else to clean your sensor.
I bought these over a month ago when the sensor spots became too much to handle and I didn’t want to shop my camera off to be cleaned during covid. Who knows if I’d even have it back yet? But I was honestly worried about doing it myself and screwing it up. The reviews I read prior gave me the courage to consider doing it myself, and the lack of open local camera store options pushed me to break open a couple of swans and give it a whirl. I can happily report it was easy and 100% successful. I have a Sony a6000 with a crop sensor and these swabs were the perfect width. I had read the recommendations to put two drops directly into the end of one swab to clean. I had already air dusted and used the sensor vibration cleaning one last time to no avail, so I knew I was ready to go. I used one swab(wet) and made a pass each way across the sensor(2 in total). Then I repeated the motions with a dry swab. That was it. First time, only needed one time. Whew! If I can add my blue sky test to this review I will so you can see for yourself. As clean as day one and, at least until next time, no more cleaning up spots in post! Love it.

Crystal Clear!
I used these to clean the sensor on my Sony a6000 mirrorless camera. After a crystal clear day of outdoor shooting I came back to find loads of nasty specks in the blue sky of all my pictures! I should have known better, the last time I used the camera I noticed a piece of dust on my sensor and tried to blow it off with my mouth (BAD IDEA!). I was worried, especially seeing the aftermath, that I had somehow done some expensive damage to my camera. After doing some research on how common dirty sensors are for mirrorless cameras, I came across this product. In tandem with a Giotto Rocket Air Blaster and some microfiber cloths, I set to cleaning up my lenses and sensor. I set up with a bright light I had around to really get a good look at the sensor and it was filthy! I photographed a sheet of printer paper to test for specks at each step. First I took a test shot at f/16, ISO 100 & ~1 sec exposure to see how bad it was (first picture). Second shot (3rd picture) was after using the rocket air blaster, which got a couple of pieces off. Then I set to using about 4 of these swabs, a couple with the solution, until I could no longer see any specks on the sensor when shining a light across it. The last picture (middle image) is what it looked like afterwards - night and day! I was so relieved it worked so well, and was really easy to do. Do not feel intimidated by this process, you just need a clean, still space with a good work light and this should do the trick just right. PROS: - Impressive packaging - each swab comes individually vacuum sealed in what appears to be a mylar pouch, completely clean - Extras leftover from one cleaning - could probably get 2 - 3 sensor cleans out of this kit - Near-perfect size for my APS-C sensor, just slightly undersized CONS: - Bottle of solution was a little confusing to get open - after you screw the top off, there is another flat plastic cover that sticks into the hole. You have to peel up the edge of this cover to pull it off the top of the bottle before you can get any solution out. It just wasn't very visually apparent the piece was supposed to come off. Once this piece is off, it is very easy to get drops out (If you're having to squeeze very hard you probably haven't taken this second cover off). Clearer instructions (with pictures) could help. Will definitely be using these in the future!

If you have a dirty sensor or are buying/have bought a second hand camera, this is the kit for you.
By giving me the tools to clean my sensor myself this cleaning kit saved me a ton of money and time. I recently bought a Canon 600D (T3i) second hand, and noticed that the sensor had some major dust particles and smears which caused some very noticeable shadowing and specks on my images and video. I came across this kit and decided to give it a try. It arrived promptly and was well packaged. It came with 12 swabs, and a cleaning solution. I had never done this before, but reading the other reviews made me confident that I could do it without damaging my sensor. It took me 7 swabs 3 wet and 4 dry before I was finally able to get rid of a particularly large smear and am extremely happy with the results. My pictures are now clean and I still have 5 swabs and a full bottle of cleaning solution to use in the event that I may need to perform another cleaning or, if I buy another second hand camera. I am going to order another one just to have in my kit as it has proven to be a most useful and powerful tool. My thanks goes to the makers of this fine product and I highly recommend it.

Works as intended
Don't expect a perfectly clean sensor with one swipe of these, but two of the swab sticks did the job for me. I had one very noticeable spot on my sensor. No amount of air blasting or ultrasonic sensor self cleaning helped. I tried a swab with two drop of cleaning fluid. It was the correct width for my canon APS-C camera - I could wipe the whole sensor with one pass without the swab touching any other camera parts that could cross contaminate the sensor. The first swab dislodged the spec of dirt, but just moved it -- leaving it in a new place on the sensor. The second swab removed the now loosened particle. There is no detectable residual film from the cleaner. However, I used only two small drops and let the moisture get completely absorbed by the swab before touching the sensor. I had no problems squeezing the drops from the included cleaner fluid bottle and it did not come with the stopper that some reviews have complained about. I gave it a three for ease of use because it does require care and patience to use this item -- its not magic. This is not a fault of the product. It is the nature of the task. I gave it a three for value, because yes its pretty expense for a dozen little plastic sticks with small pieces of cloth affixed to them and a small bottle of fluid, but the price compares favorably to the other similar products.

Saved My Camera
A long while back, I took my dear old Sony A65 to one of the most respected camera stores in L.A. and paid them to do a thorough cleaning on the camera to remove some crud that had accumulated on the sensor. They ran the auto cleaning procedure and did a few other tricks, but ultimately said that, to clean the sensor, it must go back to the manufacturer and was going to cost hundreds of dollars. Right. No, thank you. Flash forward to last week, when I suddenly stumble across a number of "How to clean your camera sensor" videos on YouTube. I'm like - WHAT!!?? I can do this myself?? [Okay, so I'm a little slow, some times.] I watched the videos and thought - this is the stupid-simplest thing on earth. Anyone can do this!! I just need a cleaning kit. I examined various kits online, and finally settled on the VSGO package which contained both swabs and fluid, which arrived a day or two later. I popped off the lens, flipped up the cover, dripped three drops of fluid on swab, held my breath and gently ran the swab across the sensor. And had absolutely no idea if it had worked or not. Closed the sensor cover, put the lens back on, went outside, opened up the exposure and shot some video against a bright white surface [which will reveal any spots on a lens or sensor]. BOOM!! PERFECT!!! A little information from a video, an excellent product from VSGO and less than ONE MINUTE to do the cleaning, and my A65 shoots like new again! Thank you, VSGO! This product is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Works for the sony a6000 and a68!
I am a real estate photographer, and I can't tell you how many times I've seen dust particles in my photos. It stresses me out to no end, they're like a disease, really. So I would spend about 20 minutes frantically cleaning my sensor with lens cleaning solution, multiple cotton swabs, microfiber cloths, and tissue papers. I would lightly damp the cotton swab and then spend 15 minutes trying to get rid of all the streaks on the mirror. Then I would have to blow all the dust out from the cotton swabs, micro cloths, and tissue paper. It was a ORDEAL, and a stressful one at that. I dreaded changing lenses because it was inevitable. Dust was going to sneak in no matter what. After purchasing these sensor swabs, it literally took me less than a minute to complete undo what I had done with my weird method. It got rid of all the dust, streaks, everything. IN ONE SWIPE. I am so thoroughly satisfied, you have no idea! It says to not re-use the swabs, but after I got done cleaning my a6000, I went ahead and cleaned my a68 with the same sensor swab. No harm done. I am so happy that I don't have to spend 20 minutes cleaning one sensor anymore! (And potentially damaging it!) This is safe, FAST, and affordable! I recommend it to all. And they give you enough to last for a very long time. It's a good idea to keep a few in your bag, just in case! Love this!

Very pleased with cleaning of Sony NEX 5N sensor.
After blowing out the dust as best I could with a rocket bulb, I used mostly dry swabs (6 in total) to clean, I put the fluid on one of them (after seeing that dry swabs alone were not going to do the trick). I didn't notice any film on the sensor after using the wet swab. I have to admit that I got a little aggressive with the cleaning and even rubbed a particularly smudged part of the sensor with the swab. Undoubtedly a no no, but it worked great. You can see from the photo (sorry about the shadow in the top image) that the sensor really cleaned up nicely. I actually did one final round and got rid of the small dust particle you see on the bottom left of the "after" photo. I was going to use that photo, but it looked to unbelievably perfect, so figured I'd show the penultimate photo to demonstrate that I really did shoot the test photos using a white background at f22. The sky shot at the end came out great. I'm glad I bought this kit.

Cleaned the Crud
It's been a couple years since I sent my Sony A77's off to get their sensors clean. I also have a A7 and a A6500 that could probably use a cleaning as well. You don't know just how dirty your sensor is until you shoot a bright blue cloudless sky. Spent an afternoon cleaning the spots from a recent shoot in Lightroom. Both the 77's were pretty dirty. Since my last cleaning the guy who owned the local camera shop decided to change his business. It's now a gun shop. Don't blame, him there's probably more job security than cameras these days. To send them off would cost $45 each plus shipping. About $60 each total. Got these as a stopgap until I could find somebody more local since I have photography stuff almost every weekend. Cleaned the sensors no more crud. Pretty happy with results. Some hints. 1. Work on a table in a clean environment. This is not something you do while watching TV while eating pizza with the dog on your lap. Take your time, read instructions. Swipe, don't scrub with the brushes. Don't drench the brush in cleaning solution. 2. Have a magnifying glass and a good light source. I used my wife's needlepoint magnifying glass and my 200 lumen LED flashlight. Makes it easier to see the big spots. 3. Use a quality air blower. Recommend the Gittos. 4. Have a new set of camel hair brushes. Use them only in the most dire instances for cleaning the sensor. I use them on the A77's transparent mirror only. Use them, cover them as soon as you are done. 5. DO NOT use compressed air in the mirror box. You will only move the dust around or worse yet, drive it deeper into the box. If you are really unlucky you get a squirt of the frozen CO2 on the sensor, making the job 100% harder.

Worked for me!
I was getting some black spots on my images that could not be removed with a thorough blow from my Giottos Rocket, so I decided to have a go at cleaning the camera sensor myself. This kit had decent reviews and was reasonably priced. The instructions were clear enough and each swab was individually sealed. Each swab was a tiny bit short for my Canon APS-C sensor, so I used two in the recommended manner - with a drop of fluid - and tossed them away. The procedure was quick and easy, not as stressful nor as difficult as I had imagined. Just be gentle and steady. To my delight the images from my DSLR are now spot-free once more.
