Havaianas Slim Carnaval Flat Flip Flop 9.5 Black

I read reviews and by the picture thought these were a solid plastic glitter base. Instead its a thin layer of an image of glitter. I assume over time will wear off. For $43 should have not been an overlay. Very flat affect
