Update to this good review after 2 months of use or so- make sure you do not exceed the FILL LINE. If you do, pressure builds up inside and there can be a gasket leak. This is NOT a product fault; it is USER ERROR. I had this leakage happen a couple of times but now I am more careful and there are no problems! I use frozen fruit, and I think when it heats up during blending it expands. Here is my original review: My original Ninja Auto iQ "Nutri Ninja Pro" blade assembly was about 5 or 6 years old and had started to leak black goop on the drive side. I still have to clean out the hardened goop from the main body of the machine- I had not noticed that it was slowly deteriorating. As they say, "it didn't owe me anything", as I use it pretty much every day to make breakfast smoothies, and five years lifetime is great. This replacement is super sharp, fits perfectly, and after two weeks of use I am super glad that I got it. Also, this may be my imagination, but it seems like it screws onto the plastic cups easier than the old one, which I often had to try to not cross-thread. Very satisfied and I recommend it. Replace yours before the black goop leaks all over your counter and hardens in the machine and is a pain to clean.

Lasted 6 months of once a week use. The original Ninja blade set lasted 6 years, but I put it in the dishwasher once and that ruined the bearing. Ninja no longer makes this blade set (after three wrong blade sets were purchased from them over the phone with reps. That took over two months to finally get my refunds). This off brand from Amazon was the only blade set that would fit my older Ninja, but the bearing gave up after only 25 smoothies over a 6-month timeframe--and I was careful to only rinse it in warm water with a little dish soap. Never left it soaking and never put it in the dishwasher. So, with the total price, it cost me .72 cents each time I made a smoothie until the part failed. I'm trying another off-brand that has slightly better reviews; we'll see how that works out.

Good product delivered quickly

I don't know what hateful engineer at Ninja thought it would be a good idea to make multiple interfaces between their mixer bases and the containers. Perhaps it is a ploy to make customers so frustrated with replacing parts that they just give up and buy another Ninja. For me, I would just get a Vitamix, but since the rest of my family was in love with the Ninja, I had to get parts. Five times. One of those times I failed to notice that each model of mixer Ninja makes has a different interface between the mixer and the container and got the wrong one. The other three times the parts supplier sent the wrong part because they did not seem to understand how to write a product description or know what it was that they were selling and if it even worked as they promised. Once I had the right part, everything was golden. It took almost 10 weeks to get parts though and that was a pain. The fit was perfect, it was easy to use, and seemed to be of the same quality as the original. That is what I expect from replacement parts so I am not going to go all gaga about this thing. I am offering a review so that others might avoid the torture that I had to go through and just make darn sure that the part you order is the exact right part for their machine.

My original blade lasted years, so when it broke, Ninja nolonger made its replacement. I bought this version on Amazon in September 2024 and started having issues at about 6 months. Today it completely locked. Unfortunately, I have no other options for this part and just purchased the replacement. I use my Ninja daily so I really shouldn't complain.
