I was a bit taken aback when I received the first delivery, the nib was misaligned and the feed had serious burping instability, however got it replaced and the pwn I have received as replacement is a really great. Here's my take on it - PROS 1. Smooth writing experience, no skips or burps 2. The plastic or resin material doesn't feel cheap in hand despite the low cost. Especially when I compare it to other cheap demonstrator pens I own from the brand Ledos. 3. Easy to clean, the nib and feed unit disassembles from the barrel quite neatly. Hard to come across such ease of the mechanism in even more expensive pens sometimes. Very useful if you like switching up inks frequently. 4. The Jinhao screw type converter actually holds quite a sizeable amount of ink. 5. Has a nib cover type thing in the cap, which I've often found missing in cheaper fountain pens. Although, it doesn't effect the writing experience but it helps to keep corrosion of metal cap materials at bay. CONS 1. The nib size F is misleading. The pen I've received writes way thicker for an F, definitely an M and a Western style M at that. If you're hoping for Japanese style F or even an M, it will not do it for you. 2. It's a scratch magnet, so will have to be careful with the handling Additionally, I have heard that the top of the cap and end of the barrel tend to crack over use, so that needs to be taken into consideration as well. All in all, a great product at this range, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Good quality nib. Minimumm scratching even on rough recycled hand made paper. I have used Dr. Phil Martin's Bombay Ink Velvet Brown, which I guess wasn't the best decision as its light and maybe not the best suited for this kind of a nib. But overall, the pen's body os fantastic, very finely made and not heavy at all. Recommended buy for novice fountain pen enthusiasts and beginer students 💯💯💯 Good grip, transparent body but good quality material so doesn't look cheap, easy to use, great ink flow. (I might update this with a second ink when Syahi inks arrive)

Awesome pen as written in the review . Great lightweight pen smooth and buttery writing no hand pain while writing and sturdy good looking design . I'm a beginner and already own a v'sign beena antic fountain pen and this is my second fountain pen. Beena antic isn't smooth like this pen. A reminder to know that I l've been using beena antic for about a year, If you are also a beginner like me and planning to buy this fountain pen my advice just buy it eyes closed. You'll have no complaints and regrets. Please Also see a gold version of this pen with dual trims ( if you already own a silver pen like this then go for second version (gold color)of this fountain pen. )That fountain pen is also good and ther are just haters comments due to which I fell for that and didn't buy that pen. Should have listened to my brain. Lastly awesome pen and go for it . Note - please see my re review after 1 year of usage not rough usage but rather taking care down below! Edit : This is my review on 30 March 2024 after one year using this pen, as i have updated this photo and video of broken parts in this pen , I earlier had uploaded a video on how good this pen was in this review but removed it as i can uploaf 1 video per review . As you you can see in photos and video uploaded that the domb like structure that was at the end of the pen to give a smooth finish and touch is broken and today on 30 March 2024 the top the cap came off wich was just glued by the plastic and it came off ! Tjose who are saying i have broken this pen purposely are wrong beacuse I am just a student and just keep this fountain pen for fair use on school notebook. Taking care of this pen from year and the dome like structure on back and the front with clip came off beacuse they are glued to the plastic. I DIDN'T BREAK THIS PEN . Rest the one is fine nib is working fine no problem and converter is also fine ! Happy with pen but definitely can't be used over a year ! Please avoid this pen if you can ! . Jinhao pens are definitely not worth that much and can't be used over a long period also that's why they are cheap less than 1k ! Glue is weak !

Guys if you are trying to get into the foundation pen world this is the best begginer fountain pen.the nib is very smooth for its price and the weight might feel a bit heavy first but once you get used it will feel weightless.if u are new I donot recommend getting a metal pen it's just too heavy start with resin or plastic ones.

Cheap quality of plastic is used in making feed,while reassembling the nib after washing, the breather collumns of feed were immediately bent and thus blocked the entire circuit of breather hole, whole pen has got affected just because of this... Strongly condemn this pen👎👎 First image depicts scratchiness associated with damaged feed, next shows how the feed get damaged after simply reassembling nib, often getting tightly stucked during this procedure...

this is one of my favourite fountain pens, what a great nib, it’s smooth and strong and helps you write without cramping your hand for long hours. it’s truly worth the money
