I wasn't quite ready to spring for a Linear Piston Air Pump for my tiny fish room so I bought one of these pumps and liked it so much I bought another. Super quiet, if it gets a bit noisy check to be sure it's sitting level. They get buzzy when they're not level, but if you set the pump on a thin piece of carpet it's basically silent. Great output, one could handle my entire fishroom no problem. I run multiple tanks off of each air pump and find it's easier to get even airflow with two pumps due to how the Air Flow Distributor works. A Linear Piston Air Pump that could run all of my tanks would have run upwards of $200 and been a far noisier option. For $40 you can't go wrong. I've had them up and running for four months now, no issues, but will update this review if they clunk out.

Powerful, quiet and two speeds makes this one very useful. I've bought multiple air pumps for my DWC and NFT small hydroponic set ups and this one is still going strong, while the cheap ones eventually failed. My current Pawfly 254 has been a good pump since 2021. Impressive air pump. Although this one is more expensive than the usual ones I buy, it's worth the money. Highly recommended.

I never leave reviews before I've used a product for a while, but I'm going to now. I can't vouch for this pump's longevity, but I can vouch for the strength and the noise level. First, it's not the most powerful pump I've owned, but it's powerful enough. I'm using it in a 55g sump to power two large sponge filters and two airstones and it's more power than needed for that for sure. Here's the part I love. Fish rooms are noisy. In my fish (sump) room, I have several pumps and motors running - including a whole home dehumidifier. With my old pump, the db reading near the pump was 84. Not just the pump... the whole loud room. After installing this pump the db reading of the whole loud room (not just the pump) dropped the db reading down nearly 20 points. The bubbles this things makes are louder than the pump sound. So far so good. The only reason it's not 5 stars is I can't say how it performs over time. Out of the box, I love it and will probably buy another soon!

I have a 750g, 6’ tall aquarium that multiple different air pumps failed to deliver bubbles too. It was just a combination of too much back pressure from the water and too long of a tube that the air could never make it all the way through. Then I bought this pump and it actually worked. It feeds 3 large air stones no problem at all and its QUIETER than the small airpumps that failed to get the job done. So more power and less noise. Super impressed.

I just received this pump today and hooked it up for my four (5 gal bucket) DWC setup. This thing is amazingly quiet! The last pump that I was using (Vivosun Model ACO-032) sounded like a German Panzer Tank in comparison. The old pump was a few years old but, it was never as quiet (although way more power at 32W versus 8W). For four buckets this Pawfly is all that I needed and so quiet, I can't even tell that it's running other than seeing the bubbles. I just hope that it doesn't die on me too soon like everything else these days! 🫰

This air pump has the best quality: silennt operation and power. Easy to connect and adjust the air flow.

After 5 years of owning 10x of these pumps every last one is dead. There is nowhere to buy or source replacement/rebuild diaphragms and the company, after messaging them numerous times, does not have any productive advice for fixing them either. I am long time aquarist. I have been keeping many tanks alive for many years and with that my suggestion is simple: if you plan on being in the hobby for a long time andnyouve invested in your setup and fish buy a reliable, easily repairable air pump, not these. It will fail in a year or two and youll end up spending double on either another low quality pump such as this or (hopfully) the better pump you should have bought in the first place. My 2 cents. Take it for what you will.

Been using this since August 2024 and honest not 1 fault with it. Can't recommend it enough. Actual so quiet considering it's size. A*
