I actually purchased this because my shavers (I have 2) are getting up in years, but still working beautifully, and I did not want to not be able to find a blade replacement due to cessation of production...I went ahead and tried the new one on and was surprised at how smooth and effective a cut it provided...I obviously did not realize how much the old blades had dulled...I am going to buy another one now for the other shaver...It is a joy when you are fully satisfied with a purchase these days....Good work Braun.

March 2, 2016:I purchased this item for my husband. He provided me with the specifications of the item. He says that it is the correct blade and foil to replace in his favorite Braun shaver.

I think these could be sold for a lot less and they generally last for 12-18 months. Bright side? My old Braun razor which I happen to like very much keeps on going and gives a great shave.

Correct for the Series 3, Model 370. Just like, as good as, original parts for this razor. A correct and complete set of parts for the Series 3, Model 370. Replacing from time to time is a really good idea. Your face will thank you.

These replacement (foil) parts aren't always like the set you have - sometimes they take a little getting used to. They aren't better or worse, just different - or so I thought. Once you get used to the new set, they usually work just as well as those you were using before. I bought this set a few months before my old set started eating themselves (and me!), and I didn't actually leave my rating until after I had used the new ones for a few months. This set likes to pull hairs, if you leave any facial hair on your face, consider it fair game. If you like to remain clean shaven, this set might work okay for you. Normally, I would recommend ordering a set before your old ones wear out completely - it's painful when they do (Kind of like having a small pet you have always trusted deciding one day that you need to be attacked and eaten..!) finally cut through the foil. But this set is nearly as aggravating with its tendency to grab every hair you wish to leave longer than 1/8th of an inch. So if you like to stay clean shaven, I give it 4 stars, but if you leave any kind of mustache or beard area, I give it 1 star for frustration - the older design didn't grab hair..
