Does this include both head and cutter? My shaver has 2 piece head.

It does. I'm not sure what it means when you say your shaver has a 2 piece head. My shaver has a standard Series 5 seat that the replacement head snaps into. Is that the two-piece head you are talking about? If it is, the cassette should work fine. The one you pictured is the one I use.

what do they mean foil and cutter when they talk about ordering new razor heads

I am not sure unless they mean the silver rt. This replacement head is the same as the one that came on the original razor though.

Braun really has a confusing numbering system and i want to make sure this replacement head is for a type 5769. should be listed in the description.

I purchased a model 5040s and had the same problem when i needed replacement blades. I went on the Braun website and contacted customer service for them to give me the correct replacement blade.
