Works super well in combo with the shampoo and conditioner on my daughter's very curly, very thick, very tangle prone hair. I bought one bottle of this & the shampoo and conditioner to start with and was so impressed I purchased a 3 pack of each to stock up with. I did notice it gave her a little bit of dandruff, but that may have just been because she wasn't getting it all rinsed out in the bath. She's only 9, but is wanting more independence and privacy in the bath. Therfore she refuses mom's help most of the time. But they gotta grow up sometime. Also this isn't meant to offend anyone and I'm trying my hardest to word this right... I'm not sure of this is more of a people of color product or not, but I wanted to try it regardless, I've tried so many things on my daughter's hair it's crazy. We are white and it works awesome as I've stated. I will include pictures of her hair to show what I'm talking about with the thickness and curlyness of her hair.

This works well but it’s a little heavy and sticky on its own, so I cut it with water. That makes it last longer anyway, so it’s not a big problem, but by itself it weighs my daughter’s hair down. When diluted, it makes her hair softer and more conditioned, though.

My 3 year old has very thin curly hair but the back gets very matted. Combing through the knots was always a fight. The first time i used this he yelled, "it doesn't hurt!!!" It keeps his beautiful curls in tact and on top of that it smells amazing. I get daily compliments on how good his hair smells.

JUST FOR ME 5 IN 1 WONDER SPRAY IS THE ONLY PRODUCT THAT REALLY WORKS FOR ALL TYPE OF HAIR IV TRIED MANY PRODUCTS THAT CLAIM TO WORK AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT SURPRISED ME AND I WOULD REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR KIDS THAT HAVE TENDER HEADS OR FOR EVERYONE.

We have twin 4 year old girls who are biracial and have different textured hair. I have tried many different detaingler’s, some expensive some not so much, and this is my favorite by far. I have bought this item many times. I have found it a bit cheaper at Sally’s Beauty Supply, but this is the easiest way to go for me, especially in a pandemic.

My daughter had some seriously matted hair. We tried vinegar and baking soda, a different detangler, and she was losing a lot of hair. I saw a video with someone using it and it appeared to work in her video so I decided to try it. It arrived quickly, and we could not wait to try it. I sprayed it and let it sit for a minute or two and then curiosity got the best of me. I grabbed the wide toothed comb and started to comb it and....BOOM! Slid through the hair with very little breakage!! Amazing product!
