the unit cannot be adjusted after the motor is tightened to the studs. this is far from ideal. this means, when tightening, the front studs must pull on the end of the slot in the motor mount and the back studs may impact the motor housing. this makes it difficult to tighten the back studs on my motor at all

Worked perfectly for attaching a Brook Crompton 3-phase to my Smithy 1220XL for vfd conversion. I've never heard of a 56T frame— mine is 56C (face/base mount)— but I imagine any 56 frame would fit. It was a close fit for my particular application and one motor mount nut required a crow foot wrench to tighten, but I won't be readjusting tension very often.

Really wish it would let me secure the motor down and then tighten it. You can't bolt the motor down secure and then use the adjusting nut, you need to have the motor mounted loose, which makes getting to all the bolts on the motor's feet difficult.

This is a handy little mount. Only problem i had was that the bolt got stuck and it snapped off. I had to weld another bolt onto it and use a nut to move it left and right.

Fore and aft adjustment to tighten motor belt sloppy. Not very precise.

This worked great. I can now change speed in under a minute on my wood lathe..I mounted the motor on top of the mounting nuts on the base, leaving them barely loose, and can now adjust it in and out without loosening anything.

Good for the application

Seems to be what I needed. Arrived when it was supposed to in perfect shape
