Excellent studio headphones 🎧 for a low price.
I bought these headphones for my home studio and I am very impressed with them. They are very sturdy and comfortable. The sound is crisp and accurate. They isolate the noise very well. They are a great deal for the price. The headphones have a wide frequency response and high dynamic range, which means they can reproduce every nuance of the sound source. They also have high-resolution capsules that deliver a clear and balanced sound. The cable is single-sided and long enough to give me freedom of movement. The 3.5 mm connector comes with a 6.3 mm adapter, so I can use them with different devices. The headphones are also very comfortable to wear for long hours. The oval-shaped ear cups fit snugly around my ears and block out any external noise. The headband is padded and adjustable, so I can find the perfect fit for my head size. The headphones are also lightweight and do not cause any fatigue or pressure on my ears. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone who is looking for a quality pair of studio headphones at an affordable price. They are suitable for professional recording and monitoring applications, as well as casual listening and gaming. They are one of the best products from Behringer, a brand that is known for its innovation and reliability.

Good Value for (Not Much) Money!
The Behringer HPM1000-BK headphones are not for any & everyone. Personally, I would recommend these mainly for professionals or enthusiasts, who are serious about their music listening preferences or work professionally in the music production industry. These headphones make a great option for those who aren’t completely happy with the audio quality & output range of the standard Boat, Noise & Phillips etc. type of wired headphones, but also don’t want to spend over 6-7K for a Sony MDR or Sennheiser HD 280 Pro quality of professional, monitoring headphones. Based purely on the price point, these headphones are a Great Value for Money product. The sound, overall, is very good. Having tried them across the board, with various audio qualities, including Dolby & Spatial Audio content from online sources, these headphones produce a fairly clean & crisp output. Not too heavy handed on the Bass. They deliver a well balanced audio output, especially considering the price. So far they’ve worked very well with the Macbook Pro onboard headphone IN, & the iPhone, for both audio & video content. Although, the iPhone needs a lightning to 3.5mm converter, it doesn’t compromise on the output quality. Any device which has a 3.5mm jack will be compatible with these headphones as they are plug-n-play all the way. In hand, the headphones don’t exactly feel “premium”, but they don’t have a cheap, flimsy type vibe either. The ear cups are oval & well padded, making it easy to have them on for hours at end. They are very lightweight, almost to a point where one might even forget that they’re on the head. When listening to music or a movie at a slightly above average to high volume, personally I have it turned UP most of the time, the Noise Cancellation is surprisingly good. Quite happy with the product! They really make a great alternative for my Sennhesier HD 280Pro, which is what I usually work with, as they are a bit more heavy & clunky to carry around or to shoot with on the fly. I would surely recommend these Behringer headphones for anyone who would like an affordable close-to-professional pair of monitoring headphones. Especially at this price!

Disappointed.
Very poor sound. I know you get what you pay for, but I needed a quick replacement set until my main set arrived and I found them unusable. The echo, crackle and poor clarity was very disappointing from a brand I have used many times with no complaints.

Update 27 Aug 2021 (see below for my original review): It's been over 2 years now of daily use around the house and I'm still extremely happy with the Behringer HPM1000 headphones - so much so that I put them on today and thought I ought to update this review. I see that the price has gone up, (currently $38 vs $13 when I bought them), and I'm honestly not surprised, I think they were a steal at the price I paid. I'm not an audiophile, but I enjoy making and listening to music and spoken word. I don't know what other headphones are available for $40, there may be better options, but I don't care. I'm happy with these, and you'll probably be happy with them too if you decide to buy. Also, since I didn't mention it in my original review, these are very comfortable for me. I wear them for hours at a time with no pain or discomfort. My only complaint is that my ears can get a bit warm and moist after several hours, but I just give them a break and let them air out for a few minutes and then I'm good for another round. Original review: I paid about $13 for these, and have no regrets. I've been using them daily at home for over a year now and they still look brand new. Read some of the other reviews and understand the meaning of "studio headphones" in terms of sound response, they have a fairly flat response unlike most headphones meant for music listening. That said, I listen to music with them unequalized almost daily and it honestly sounds fine to me, much better than in-ear buds that cost twice as much as these. In terms of durability, I treat mine pretty well, but have accidentally yanked on the cable/dropped them a few times and had no problems. They seem well-built for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair if needed.
