Margo Garden Products 2-3" 30lbs Rainforest Black Grade A Polished Pebbles

I used these at the bottom of my gutters to diffuse the water so it doesn't wash out my mulch. I don't know it that is the intent, but it works perfectly for that purpose. They work for that purpose and look great.

These are highly polished rocks, as described. They probably look great in a garden application. However, I bought them with the intention of painting on them. PAINT WILL NOT STICK TO THESE ROCKS! I tried everything I could think of to make the surface more receptive to paint, but nothing worked! I washed them, baked them to remove any waxy coating, used steel wool on them, etc., etc. They are just as slick and shiny as they were when I first received them! So, this is not technically a negative review, it’s just a heads up for those crafty people who might think their smooth surface would make them great to paint on. Not so.

I am absolutely happy with the size and color. I have been buying rocks from all different vendors and these are rue to he description. I have a large forty foot bed to fill in and will be buying more.

I just fell in love when I saw the beautiful river rock/pebbles. So smooth and the color is so pretty. I have gotten mine to use in a large birdbath fountain for the wild birds to enjoy. Thank You. Stay Safe

Stones are large and not many suitable for painting. Also almost all were broken, had large cracks and irregular shapes. Out of 30 +/- stones, only 5 were suitable for my purpose. Very disappointing.

I just wish I could order more at one time! Love em soooo much!

A few stones in the pack arrived broken in halves. Not as shiny as on photo.
