There's no Mandarin. None.
My daughter loves it. I Was hoping for at least some inclusion of mandarin. There is none. Not even "zai jian" at the end of the book. Meh..

Great book for toddlers
This book is great since my son watches the show. It has pictures, so he feels like he can read and it's simple that he remembers every part of it and teaches you that you have to be patient and wait.

Good life lessons
I like that the story has a good lesson for kids to learn besides reading for pleasure. First time my 3 year old saw the show on Noggin. And when we were at the Festival of Books this weekend, he immediately, picked out this book. Since then the past 3 days, all I did was read Kai Lan for both naps and bed time. I am sick of it; but, he's not. He gets to pick any books for nap time and this is the only one he wants over and over again.

my daughters love this book so much
I have 2 daughters: 4 and 1. Both of them love this book so much. Even small one brings this book and say "wait, hoho" to ask me to read it. Easy to read, fun and most of all, educational. Hoho learns how to wait by doing his favorites. It was the best choice.
