Excellent
The items arrived well packaged and quicker than expected. I had a minor issue with missing items, but this was swiftly dealt with by the seller and the items, as promised, arrived the next day.I have used this product before and found it effective and this second purchase was for another family members property based on my previous experience.Would recommend.

Time will tell...
I had a visitor in my loft. Turned out to be about 3 maybe more. I put an endoscope camera through a hole in my bedroom ceiling which was by my window and where all the noise was coming from.I managed to force an opened packet of poison through the hole. Within a few hours it was getting attacked and I thought to myself what the hell have I done, it's just encouraging them to be more active and noisy.I watched them coming and going on the camera.I had also been looking up other methods of killing them as other brands had not done the trick previously.I read about homemade poison using different things.I decided to concoct my own.I got a container and put the following into it: packet of poison, bicarb of soda(causes Digestive issues as they cant burb, regurgitate or be sick) cocoa powder(to attract them)polyfilla powder(hardens inside when they drink water and causes blockages inside them), mash potato flakes(swells up inside), tiny chocolate sprinkles, cornflour(thickens inside) and Guam gum powder(thickens inside)I mixed it all up until it was all well blended together.I then made little squares out of Cling film which would hold the mixture.I put powder form in some of them and some I mixed with a tiny touch of water to roll into balls.I then twisted the Cling film to make them into wraps.I cautiously opened the loft door and threw about 12 unopened packets of poison around the loft and about 40 Wraps of the homemade stuff.Closed the loft door and waited. The same night I saw one on the camera very briefly for about 3 secs and then that was it for the night, no activity or noise throughout the early hours or daytime. That scratching drives you mad.I had my laptop on continuously monitoring the camera as I couldn't sleep of a night because of their activity. So far it's been a week and touch wood I've not seen or heard anything since that last sighting. So hopefully this poison has worked or my homemade stuff has done the trick.Next thing I'm going to do is put the bait boxes in the back garden and maybe one in the front to help eradicate these pests.I am hoping that they went outside to die as I've experienced a dead rat smell and it's absolutely revolting.I've checked around for entry points and I think they are getting in via the roof using trees to get onto it.So I need to get the trees chopped down and hopefully no more visitors.Money well spent if the poison has worked. If not back to square one 😭Hope this helps people.

Effective, but there's an art to using the traps
For the price, this is a great kit for dealing with rats as 2kg is a lot of poison, enough to handle an infestation if used correctly. The boxes can take about 2 bags at the very most, but really the key is the location of the trap, and depending on the size of the rats, you may need pegs to keep them down. For optimal effectiveness, I found grinding mealworm into the rat poison makes it much more appetizing, so much so 2 bags were reduced to dust in one night, but patience is required as rats are famously cautious animals. If you can help reduce the smell of the trap with soil, grass cuttings etc, that will help them become more comfortable with the trap.Good value for money and effective.

Maybe too small for rats!
I bought a different brand rat bait box at the beginning of the summer, it’s entrance is much bigger. These boxes are much smaller. I appear to have gigantic rats in my garden, I doubt these will work.

Works well, not seen a rat for quite some time
This poison is very effective, I bought this second batch for my neighbour, so he could kill his rats in order to stop them moving into our garden now we've dealt with our infestation. The rats were so happy in our garden, they were running across our decking during the daytime, while we were sat on it!I put two bait boxes down, but after 3 days, not even a sniff. We knew the rats were living under the garage, as they'd burrowed an obvious tunnel, so I made the decision to pour the poison directly into their nest.Being aware of the importance of not letting birds etc eat the poison, I wanted to put the bait as far down the rat hole as I could.I grabbed the extension tube from an old hoover and pushed it down into the rat hole as far as it would go, then poured in a packet of poison. The next day it was all gone, so I poured in two more packets and the next day just a small amount remained. That was a couple of months ago and we've not seen any rats since.Highly recommended.

Took a week or 2, but all rats dead
As have rabbits and ducks and dogs I needed something that rats would eat there and then as blocks could be moved and dropped for the dogs to eat. Have tried various baits over the years with varying success so was dubious about this working. Set up outside duck run under hedge where no pets could go and left it alone with 2 packs of bait. 2 weeks later none gone. Then noticed a dead rat, and near by found a sluggish one. How many rats there were I don’t know but pre-baiting saw 7 at once in duck run. Now I have none anywhere. Best product I have ever bought but you have to stay way once you bait and give it time but worth the wait.
