Essential Tool for every cyclist
Certainly! Here's a positive review for the The Crankbrothers Multi-Tool is an absolute game-changer for both on-the-go repairs and regular bike maintenance. As someone who likes to be prepared, this tool has everything I need in a compact and sturdy design. The range of tools is impressive, from Allen wrenches to screwdrivers, and even a chain tool. It’s perfect for adjusting gears, tightening bolts, and fixing chains – all without needing a bulky toolbox.

Well-built, case feels like an afterthought
The tool itself is well-built. Plenty of options to fix most repairs on the road. This is my primary chain tool and spoke tensioner. The tool choice and use of space is really clever, I particularly like the chain tool that doubles as a spoke wrench, and has two wrench sizes built-in. I didn't particularly like the case however. When I first got the tool, the case was nigh impossible to open by hand. A couple of months down the line, the case just about opens itself if you look at it funny. The issue is they used a weird locking mechanism on the top that gets scraped away each time you open it. The tool fits snugly (It doesn't even rattle, I have to give them props for the tolerances) but it doesn't feel like it meets the quality of the rest of the tool. I'd much rather have a fabric case or a better designed metal case with a non-degrading opening mechanism. Regardless, this is still a premium tool. Though I likely won't use the case, I plan to use this tool for years to come. I will definitely consider this brand when I need more bike tools in the future.

Never ride without it
It’s always good to have a quality multi tool on rides and this one is definitely as good as all the other reviews make it. It has saved me a few times on the trails far away from my vehicle already. The chain breaker can be difficult to push out the pins when holding it by hand but otherwise the links fit well into the breaker with no play. The other tools fit tight into Allen and torx bolts as well. I bought the M19 instead of the M17 for the extra tools and metal case. It’s helps keep the tools from leaving holes on my backpack. I’m one for quality tools and the M19 preforms well and has a solid build. Some people have had these for 10+years and still going. Hopefully mine will live up to the same.

I love the versatility
I love the versatility of this multitool. I had a competitor's and got tired of dropping bits and stuff breaking. This thing is rock solid. No its to drop! And it is compact, especially for the number of tools you get. I would definitely recommend and will be getting another so I have one for each bike.

Great tool for most components on your bike.
I didn't start carrying a bike multi tool until recently while planning for a MTB trip. I didn't want to get caught without tools on the trail so I chose this one. It came in handy when I was dialing in my new MTB shoes. At first I was.."oh great, now I have to ride back home...", then I remembered this tool. I was able to reposition my cleats trail-side. It performed flawlessly and it already started to pay off. If you ride a road bike, you may not like it's weight. It weights in at 7 oz. which feels energy sapping when you hold it in your hands. The things I carry in my pockets are phone, pump, spare, patch kit, levers. All that weights 1 lb 3oz. So the will be noticeable. But, I wouldn't want to get caught without tools far from home so maybe piece of mind will outweigh the weight of the tool. The tool itself does not open by itself and when a tool is extended, it stays extended. It is nicely designed with appointments like, knurled areas, black bolts and engraved logo and size markings on the allen wrenches and chain tool. It feels nice holding it in your hands with no sharp edges or corners. It also comes in a nice aluminum case where the tool slides in with precision. The outside of the case has a brushed aluminum texture while the inside is smooth as glass. Once inserted, the tool does not rattle while in the case. A lot of thought went into designing just the case alone. To me, it is the little details that really reveals quality and Crank Bros is still up to their old tricks. Crank Bros has ALWAYS made quality stuff ever since the early mtb and bmx days. They continue their legacy with this multi tool. I am happy some companies never change.

Quality built bicycle multi-tool
This Crankbrothers bicycle multi-tool is very good quality. It’s small enough to pack away on your bike but it adds considerable weight as it’s an all steel tool. If adding weight to your bike is a concern, you might want to consider one of Crankbrothers lightweight tools that incorporate aluminum or buy a tool with fewer tools such as a minimalist multi-tool. I don’t race or tour with my bike so the extra weight doesn’t pose a problem. I error more on the side of having enough tools in a multi-tool (not weight in grams) to be sure that I have the right size tool with me at all times.
