I bought two men's hats as Christmas gifts for friends who are traveling to Panama. The hats were fun and stylish and priced right in case they are blown off on the boat. When they were first opened on Christmas morning they were too large. Everything was great except for the sizes. That is my only disappointment. I would have preferred better sizing options than S, M &L. However, the seller and Amazon were quick and friendly in assisting my return and even quicker on sending the replacement hats. I have received my refund on the first two hats and my friends look great in their hats that fit. Problems happen, but this was the way to do business.

Let's face it - I NEED to wear a hat outside. Especially in Florida. The last time in Disney, I got a sunburn on the back of my neck even with my normal baseball hats. Started looking for something with a brim, that would arrive in time for our trip, and be a reasonable price. This pushed all the buttons. When it first arrived, I thought it was a little heavier than expected, but after wearing it a couple of times, I think that was just the first impression. I really didn't notice more weight than a baseball hat. Fit very well. Looked good. I got the one with the narrow "leather" band, which did not fully cover the inevitable sweat through. Might consider one of the wider bands in the future. Fortunately, it did not stain. We did not have any rain while there, so I have no idea how this would hold up in when drenched. I would buy again.

A very nice summer A very nice Panama-style hat for men or women, with great quality and workmanship.

I went on vacation to the Caribbean and this hat was perfect. Excellent quality and price point but also stylish!

> UPDATE: I've now worn the hat on three cruises (requiring the hat to be packed 6 times in a suitcase), and it has survived quite well. Just fold the brim down and then flatten the crown. I also use it outdoors when I'm not traveling. I've worn the hat for about 60 days, total, and it still looks good. Cool even on hot days. Survived a rain shower.> Looks great. Surprisingly great -- better than a hat I returned to Amzn which cost twice as much.> Just a bit shiny and plastic looking --- but not objectionable (actual straw hats can be a little shiny when new). The material is nominally plasticized paper, but it is durable and reasonably waterproof.> Light weight.> Moderately tight weave, but air permeable --- cool even in 95 degrees in Italy in August. This is a summer hat, it won't hold much warmth in cooler weather. Obviously, water permeable too, so not a rain hat.> BONUS !!! -- included removable, adjustable, neck strap. I agonized between this and another similar hat which came with neckstrap --- because I know that I'll need a neckstrap for walking around the deck on a cruise coming up in 2 weeks. I had planned to add a home-made neckstrap to this hat. BUT I DIDN'T NEED TO !! -- it came with an adjustable, removable neck strap. Unfortunately, in actual use, the neckstrap does not stay attached, and is difficult to reattach---because the fasteners are double-hooks which do not close. On a cruise, ultimately I had to cover the fasteners with a 1 1/4" length of 1" wide surgical tape--which worked well. Back home, I replaced the fasteners with half-inch diameter split rings --- which work very well, although detaching the neckstrap would be time consuming --- if I don't want the neckstrap showing, I just place the neckstrap in the crown of the hat before putting it on.> SIZE -- I've got an "average" size head, and it fits me well. The head-size is non-adjustable --- which (if the hat fits) is better than an oversized hat that is bunched up to make it smaller --- or wearing a "sack and rubber band" on your head, like some "adjustable" hats. (The leather band on top, is just for show).> You can use hat tape (available separately on AMZN) under the sweat band, inside the crown, to make a too-large hat fit a little better. Ordinary 1/8"-thick adhesive household insulating tape (for doors and windows) would probably work just as well. If you use hat tape, you want to use one or more sections each about 2" long, not a continuous length.

Great quality hat. Looks great. Fits great. Can be packed in luggage. Highly recommended. It would be nice if they had size extra large.

Hat appears as advertised ,as with any consumable item time will tell if it is durable. I purchased one a couple Weeks ago for a friend and was impressed so I purchased this one for myself . We wear these to car shows in the Summer and need protection from the sun. Both shipments were in white plastic bags that do not keep the hats from getting bent out of shape. I suggest the shipper consider a light weight box.

I wouldn’t fold it and pack it in a suitcase, other than that it’s a very good hat

Looks great, feels great but just too small for my head I’m a 59cm and it sits on top of my head. So it runs small, not worth trying to return so I’ll give it to my girlfriend

Crushable it is but only if you dont mind looking like Wurzel Gummidge! You get what you pay for.

Buen precio y variedad de medidas. Espero que sea resistente y aguante mojarse ocasionalmente (lluvia y sudor). También espero que sea fácil limpiarlo. Otros sombreros con el sudor se manchan muy rápido.

The hat came in a totally FLAT plastic bag where it was stuck for over a month. It was completely deformed when I opened it - with permanent creases. Misshapen and gnarled. Terribly unacceptable and will have to be returned.
