Works perfectly, instead of buying a system with CarPlay installed for approx £300, I purchased an Android head unit (on offer for less than £80) bought this ‘dongle’ too. I have a factory fitted CarPlay in the other car and once installed there is no difference. Well apart from this one being larger. It connect right away and works really well, the Android unit is a bit cumbersome and slow to react as it’s a cheapish, I was concerned that once installed CarPlay would be ‘laggy’ too. Thankfully no such issues it flies through the screens and acts just as the proper CarPlay in the other car. I was slightly put off because of some of the reviews, but I’m glad I purchased it. There are a couple of steps needed to take before it’ll work for the 1st time, such as installing an APK file. Once that’s done, it works right away. I love it!!

Got this for my PX5 Head unit fitted to a freelander 2 this works great for both Apple iphone (11 pro max) and android (note 10) the integration is great and really add new features and functions to head unit.On the android side if you use spotify you have to enable unknown sources for spotify to work. The unit is plug and play you do require the apk for your headunit that can be found on thee QR code on the box

Works reasonably well. Didn’t have the SD card supplied as it said it should, but the box has a QR code to download the APK so no worries there.

Did not do as I expected, the info led me to believe it was compatible with my car.....it wasnt!

Recieved without 8gb memory which should be included with the package
