I purchased this strap to replace the metal bracelet on my old watch from the 90's. The color nicely offsets the dial, and the strap seems to be of decent quality. It's definitely much nicer than the "Dakota" type straps you see in the mall, but nothing like the more bespoke stuff you can special order from places like Hodinkee. (But, of course, those straps can easily cost more than $150!) The Spring bars appear to be sturdy, and the clasp is fairly easy to operate.While I am very satisfied with the purchase, I do have 2 complaints, and they are admittedly minor. First, the picture used for this strap looks to be much richer in appearance than the strap I received. Since I was pairing this with a vintage '90's watch, I was looking for something that wouldn't look quite as 'new', and bring out the variations in the leather underneath. That said, I'm sure in 6 months of daily wear, this will look the part.My only other quibble is that, while the quick release spring bars do make it much easier to attach the strap, they had to cut channels in the leather along the back of the spring bar to accommodate them. This is a known stress point, and I fear these channels may begin to tear and shorten the life of the strap. I will have to remind myself to periodically check the back to see if those areas are showing wear.In summary, a good looking, reasonably priced strap for anyone looking to accessorize their watch. Unfortunately, I will have to knock off a single star for durability due to the aforementioned slits cut in the leather to accommodate the quick release mechanism in the spring bar. Even if it doesn't tear, I will worry that it will after months of daily use.

WOW !!! What a NICE watch band! You can see the QUALITY as soon as you open the shipping box. This watch band is actually packaged in a very impressive 2-piece box, lined with protective foam strips, top and bottom. Extra protection (a paper strip) was included to prevent the buckle from scratching the under-side of the band, and the buckle also had a protective film strip to guard against scratching.The leather is BEAUTIFUL, and appears to be of HIGHEST QUALITY, with flawless stitching done in white.Very impressive that Barton offers this watch band in so many different finishes & colors. Was almost hard to decide which one to choose. :-)This is NOT your typical flimsy watch band! I'm confident that it will last a VERY LONG TIME.This is a replacement band for the black rubber band that came with my beautiful Casio Ediface Solar Powered watch, and it has enhanced the look and feel of this fine timepiece.LOVE this product / band, and plan to purchase one or two more, for my other watches when needed!

I'm happy I bought two of these bands. One black and one white. It is extremely comfortable. The band is very soft and flexible. The stiffness of the band when you first wear it, is almost unnoticeable. I'm very happy with these bands.The only thing I can say negatively is that the band wears off pretty quickly. I have only worn this for just over a month and there are a few places it is wearing off. Though I do wear the hell out of this band. I'm an artist and designer and I am using my hands constantly so the band gets a lot of wear.

So far so good! My husband has a Shinola watch but they’re $115/ea for name brand bands - we got this as a replacement since his original band was tearing apart after a year.This one was as thick as the name brand, and easy to install. The original was labeled 20mm so that’s what I replaced it with, but appears to taper slightly where it connects to the watch, so I’ll likely try 19mm next time I replace it. My husband likes that the holes are slightly closer together on the Barton, which gave him more options for a better fit. Just installed it so I don’t know about durability yet, but with how sturdy it feels, I can’t fathom it would last much less than the year the $$ band did.I will say it’s not as buttery soft as the Shinola band, but it looks nice and while stiff now, I’m guessing it’ll soften a bit with time.

Nice looking watch strap. Bought it to wear with medium brown belt and dress shoes. Really easy to put on and remove. Like the Barton watch straps

When my husband's old watch band fell apart, we started looking for an appropriate new one that would be sufficiently "tough" to last through long hard days at his job as a Navy shipbuilder. He liked the looks of this watch band and ordered it right away. It was delivered on time (quickly) and was just what he needed. The band is sturdy leather and fits his watch perfectly. In addition, it is attractive and will surely last a long time. Thank you for this quality product!

On the whole I am happy with this quick release watch strap...however, there are buts. It looks good and is easily attached and removed from my Gear S3 smartwatch using the quick release pins. For the price I expected a thicker leather strap than I got. The picture is cleverly taken at an angle to give the illusion of a thicker product than the reality. It also seems like a layer of plastic is sandwiched between the outer leather layers. Certainly, every time I pull the strap through the buckle to fasten there is a clicking noise like a thick piece of plastic being bent. My original black Samsung strap is twice as thick and a genuine quality product. This isn’t.

I really like the look of this strap. I bought it, for what I consider to be a significant price, expecting great quality. I'm sorry to say that it is a product of style over substance. Packaged beautifully, it really has a feel of high quality, yet normal use over a relatively short period of time has shown that this strap is not made to stand up to regular use.The buckle holes have stretched such that the strap now needs tightening to the next hole as with the stretch it is now too big. In addition, the leather has developed cracks and I no longer feel as though I can trust the strap and as such will no longer be using it.It is a real shame as I really like the look of the product.

The media could not be loaded.  My Garmin Vivoactive 3 popped out of the strap several times with slight twists - like when it's grazed by a backback strap. It fell on the ground and got damaged. I contacted Barton support and they told me they knew about this "incompatibility" for a long time, however there is no mention about it on their Amazon posting. So how was I supposed to avoid this from happening if there is no warning on the product page?! I asked for them to pay for the watch repair and they stopped responding to my messages. Terrible support - get your strap from a more reputable company that stands behind their products.

Nice strap, looks good with my Huawei watch, but split around quick release pin after 4 months of use.I would expect better given the price.UPDATE: after posting this message, the seller contacted me and sent a replacement and a silicon strap too. Excellent way to deal with an issue.

I go through a lot of watch bands, for two reasons. Firstly, I'm pretty fickle and get bored easily and want a change. Secondly, the standard usually isn't that high when you're dealing with 3rd party manufacturers. Barton are the exception. I'm currently on my second band (nothing happened to the first - I changed the watch and bought a new Barton band), and if (or when) I switch watches again, the first purchase will be to replace the original band with a Barton. Top quality finish and materials coupled with great looks. What's not to like?
