Look no further
If you have been scouring the internet for ways to make travel with children easier- look no further! It’s no secret that traveling with toddlers means you’ll be hauling a lot of stuff, and this cart/stroller thing made it that much easier! If you have a young one who needs a car seat but also will not reliably walk through the airport, something like this is a MUST if you are bringing your seat on the plane. So many people commented on how easy and cool this is!My two words of advice: 1.) practice before you have to assemble this post-TSA. The cart folds nicely and goes through the machines without a hitch, and can be stowed underneath the seat in front of you. But it does take practice to securely attach the car seat (depending on the seat) and you want to be proficient at it. After practicing beforehand, my child actually was excited to climb in and ride at the airport and I could get the setup assembled in under two minutes. Check the width with your seat- the cart itself could fit down the aircraft aisle but your car seat might be too wide. We carried the seat and folded cart on and off the plane directly just to avoid hold up.2.) The wheels can also be snagged by unleveled floors- like going on and off thick carpet, escalators or elevators or uneven sidewalks. If you are pushing the seat in front of you, just be cautious when going over bigger bumps and around corners, like you would with any stroller. At the multiple airports we used this at, we only encountered this on/off escalators and big sidewalk cracks. If you are being cautious, you can easily tip the front wheels up slightly to go over these. Definitely not a huge safety hazard in our experience, and the cart is very sturdy and safe feeling. This made traveling alone with a toddler such a piece of cake- if he did not want to ride in it, he was very content to push it around with our diaper bag in it instead. I was able to navigate a toddler, his cart seat, and a rolling suitcase with ease thanks to this cart. And I got to share this item with so many curious parents at the airport.

We would not have survived this trip without these carts!
We had to transport two high needs, developmentally delayed, non-verbal children to family across the country. We feared little legs would never be able to keep up in a mad dash across the airport to make a connecting flight. Additionally both kids had a history of running when they were in new situations and were feeling overwhelmed. We were terrified of loosing them in a crowded airport. These carts were LIFESAVERS. They are easy to connect a car seat to (the car seat needs to have the LATCH system to clip securely to the trolley) and straps are including to stabilize the top of the car seat to the trolley so it doesn’t tip sideways.Once we had done a trial run connecting the seats to the trolley in the office, we were confident that we could easily reattach the seats in a hurry between flights. This trip was anything but smooth. Between gate changes, oversold flights, being rerouted several states from our destination, and weather cancellations; we thought we would never reach our destination. These car seat trolleys were the only thing that worked from start to finish. The car seats were easy to move to and from the trolley. Kids were excited to be pulled through the airport and the adults were beyond excited that the kids were at zero risk for running.Best money ever spent!

A must have for travelling solo
I recently used this travel cart for a 15 hour solo travel day with my child. I used the latch system straps, top tether, and the provided strap to secure our carseat to the cart. There were no issues with tipping when all the straps were tightened. We have a Graco Tranzitions seat. The only issue I had was with excess lengths of strap becoming tangled in the wheels, but I was able to tuck them easily to resolve the problem. My child was happy to be in their normal seat and have access to cupholders. I was able to use the handle to carry a backpack as well. I would not recommend a heavy pack or bag for this, but ours worked. The movement of the cart is smooth and I like the 360 front wheels. Having our carseat and using it on the plane allowed us to board early, which was a great benefit since our flights were full. We did not check the carseat.I was so happy to have a place where I could strap in my child and not worry about wandering off or having an extra piece of bulky equipment I would have to pay to bring.

Great for bringing a car seat on the plane!
At the time of writing this review I’ve had these car seat carts for almost a year and I’ve flown with my twins four times, two of those times being solo. My twins are over the age of two, meaning that we have to buy them their own seats when we fly. I know my kids, and I know they would wreak absolute havoc if they were expected to just sit in the airplane seat with the lap belt. Enter these magic carts. I converted the LATCH system to forward facing, clipped the seat to the anchors, got it nice and tight and centered, and off we went. My kids sat happily in their car seats all the way through the airport and to the gate. The profile of the cart combined with the car seats was still slim enough to fit comfortably down the center aisle of the plane. When not in use they fold and store easily. I could not recommend these enough. We use them every time we fly.No product is perfect though, and there are a few things to note about the carts. They don’t do great on the low pile airport carpet. They get kind of tricky to move unless you’re using two hands, which isn’t always possible when juggling bags and everything else. I didn’t feel particularly comfortable tilting the cart up on the two rear wheels, partly because it just didn’t feel very sturdy and partly because I was afraid my squirmy kids would jerk and topple us all right over. That said, the car seats installed very securely onto the cart and that security was greatly helped by using the included strap to keep the head rest of the car seat firmly attached to the handle. All in all, the pros outweigh the cons and this is a great product that has made moving through airports with twin toddlers so much easier.
