I bought this magnet for magnet fishing with my daughter and it's pretty fun and interesting. Also surprising what people throw into rivers/canals!This magnet does have a VERY strong grip when on a flat surface! It's also surprisingly strong on rounded or rough items too! I'd definitely recommend purchasing this magnet and also recommend a strong rope and thread lock the eye bolt as they are known to come loose and no more magnet! 🙂

This is super strong, I accidentally caught my nipple , shirt and ID badge in between two of these when I unboxed two of them.Be cautious if you purchase more than one, they are super strong. I had to get a super hench guy to help me escape my super magnets clutches, that and at the same time I was prying them apart with a metal plate to try and twist them apart.

I chose this magnet purely on the advertised strength, and although I doubt it would hold anything near the weight claimed, it easily lifted a 7’ long steel scaffold pipe out of a river - pretty impressive given it was holding onto a curved surface.People have suggested that stronger is not necessarily better for magnet fishing, but I haven’t found any disadvantages with this one’s power.If I lose this magnet, I’ll be buying the same one again.

Fantastic magnet and super strong , took this magnet fishing and managed to hook a massive steal pipe as shown in pictures, this magnet is very well made and quite heavy. I’ve used a 10mm wide rope as the 6 and 8mm just don’t seem strong enough for this magnet. If your a novice or a experienced magnet Fisher this is the magnet for you don’t forget to wear some gloves !

My magnet came Saturday and I was impressed with the size of this.I went magnet fishing the day after and can safely say this is the best magnet I've used.It's got a very good weight to it and it clamped on to metal box I found very impressively and where I have struggled before, this makes light work of it.Highly recommended magnet

it has no power, it can't even stick to my metal freezer it slowly falls down the size, it can be remove from the freezer with my little finger it is totally under powered and not as stated

Yes it arrived on time,my son was very impressed with it,s strengh.He is yet to use for fishing but hopes to soon.
