Great for LONG clothing w/o them touching the floor or the rack bowing when fully loaded
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Having moved from a smaller house into a much larger home, you'd think the closet space would expand as well! Not the case for me! I wanted a solid bar rack (not 2 pieces slid into each other to make up the bar to hang my clothes for fear it would buckle and spill all of my clothes into the floor over time), and this is definitely a solid bar! Bonus is that assembly was super, super easy! The Z frame makes it easy to maneuver around corners and through entryways without bumping into the walls. My only regret is that I bought 2 "high bar" racks when I should have bought at least 1 double rack option (I don't have that many long items and could have doubled the rack space by simply buying the over / under option for shirts and pants). Quality: High marks for a solid build! As another reviewer noted, it will come apart if lifted by the side bar to carry it over a step - so if you plan to use it for moving over anything but a flat surface or around the house, definitely purchase the pins and drill a couple of holes in the lower side bars to to hold the base in place. Don't get me wrong, household use is not a problem. It is moving it out of the house or down steps to the basement when it became obvious! Build quality: Solid build and very sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no tipping issues with the Z bar base when moving it around fully loaded. The wheels are large enough to easily make it over thresholds when moving it from laundry room to bedrooms / spare rooms (and from hardwood to carpet). And the Z makes it easier to maneuver around corners. This clothing rack is SOLID. I have loaded mine down without any bowing of the rack! Not worried at all that this thing will last for years! Height: Great height for tall garments! If you're worried about your clothes touching the ground, DON'T! I wouldn't worry about it either if I would have purchased the over/under 2 rack version (and should have purchased 1 of each to double the rack space for shirts and pants). Rollability: Maneuvers easily over both hardwood and carpet (and over the thresholds in between). The wheels are large enough for smooth transport across multiple surfaces, which is much appreciated! This is definitely industrial strength quality!

Sturdy, glides on floor, easy assembly, holdsany garments
I don't know why there were so many complaints concerning this product. The product came in a package that was inside another bigger box. Yes, the outside box was a bit damaged. It's expected that such a big box will get some rough handling considering that 1) Nowhere in the box says "Handle with Care;" 2) It's big and bulky. With that said, mine arrived with all the pieces. Nothing was missing. I saw some reviews saying that the crossbar was chrome and the rest had a different color that didn't match and people didn't like that. It's a rack! It's not a dining set. It's not a product meant for aesthetics or decoration. It's meant to be used inside closets, in garages, basements, showrooms. Not your living room. It's a practical product built to last and for practicality. If you're a designer and you bought this for your shows, people are going to be looking at your products and designs, not the rack holding them. With that out of the way, the product does what it is meant for. Glides over the floor. And I'm using it in my basement, which has an unfinished floor. This rack slides like skates on ice. It's exactly what I needed since I'm working in my basement at this time and I need to be able to move it around easily. I was using a furniture dolly to move the one I had before. It was a pain. This product solves that problem I had. It is very sturdy. I'm using it to hang a lot of heavy winter coats. It is not at high as I would have liked it to be. I was not able to hang some long dresses. But that's okay. I can always move my long dresses back to a closet. I can live with that. I was able to put it together in less than 15 minutes. Very easy to assemble. The only thing to keep in mind is that the bars that hold the crossbar do not use bolts or nuts. They just slide in their corresponding slots in the bar at the bottom. So I would be careful not to try to pull up from them with clothes hanging from the crossbar. This product does not fold for storage when not in use. If you need to storage it, you're going to have to unscrew the nuts and bolts in the bars at the bottom. It is completely open. It doesn't come with a cover. Therefore, if you need to protect your clothes, you will need to either buy a cover separately, or store your clothes in bags. I did the latter. By the way, since it's completely open, if you hang something long, it is going to be dragged on the floors if you roll the rack around. I'm including a couple of pictures. One shows the rack right after I had finished putting it together. You can see the old rack I had for which this new rack is a replacement. In the second picture, you can see the rack with all of my clothes hanging from it, but for the dresses that are too long. In case you are wondering, I'm 5'5" (1,65 mts.) The crossbar is roughly at my nose level. I could use about 5-6 inches more in height. But apart from that, I'm happy with my purchase.

Sturdy-city baby! A great rack for vintage (REAL) coats and clothes...
Here's the brief but truthful deal for all of you folks that are utterly curious as to the quality of this inexpensive rack.. This beast is a solid and worthy investment. The set-up was beyond easy as well, a couple of connecting points and maybe one or two of your own tools and you're golden. As you can see from my photograph, (and pardon the blurriness!) this rack is supporting almost 200 lbs of coats... yes, VINTAGE and OLD SCHOOL coats; a dense leather pea-coat, a huge wool mountain jacket and other various aged coats that weigh at least 5 to 10 pounds per piece, AND sweaters and an old wool blanket too! It's really a well designed rack and I've definitely pushed its capacity to the limit. The only thing I've noticed, and I believe one reviewer did some adjustments to assist this issue (and its not a structural problem mind you) is when the top half silver poles slide into the lower base section of the rack, there might be a bit of space which can make it shift a tiny bit. I couldn't care less, because it doesn't in ANY way compromise the sturdiness of the rack. If that tiny movement affects you, you can drill something through it or perhaps even foam that connection, maybe even duck tape the connecting part? This rack is really dynamite. If my photo doesn't prove it, I don't know what to tell you... I've got a lot of weight on this thing and there's NO bend in that top pole! Peace and Love people! Hope this helps!

Durable and Functional
I bought this garment rack for additional storage and organization of heavy and longer items in my closet. It was extremely simple to put together, having minimal parts, with nuts and bolts already attached to the wheels. It rolls very smoothly and easily, and the diagonal bar makes it extremely sturdy. Much better and easier than other garment racks I have purchased. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to others

Truly industrial — measure your space, though!
I didn’t look at the dimensions of this rack well enough when I ordered it. It’s much wider and shorter than I expected — I would have preferred the width be the height and the height be the width, but that was pure not RTFS on my part. (Reading the fxxxx specs.) The height also does not adjust, which I found odd. That said, this is truly an industrial-level clothing rack. It’s no frills, sturdy as all get out, and well worth the price. It is very easy to assemble. It comes with the necessary tools, and it will be very easy to disassemble should the need ever arise. I taped the tools in a plastic bag to the side of one of the bottom supports so they won’t get lost. I’ve owned what I thought were some pretty nice clothing racks in the past, and this one equals all of the nice ones I’ve loved and lost. It will hold a load of heavy clothes with no danger of tipping over. The “Z” design helps the stability quite a bit, as does the high-grade steel. If I hadn’t planned a much smaller space for it to fit into, I’d give it five stars. That is all on me rather than on what seems to be a fine product, though. As it is, it does not quite fit my needs, space-wise, so living with it basically in the way is currently inconvenient. Luckily, my closet-sorting project is short-term and will be over in a few weeks, at which time this rack will go live in the garage. If you’ve got the room and need a rack that’s sturdy easy to move, super strong, and basically a clothing rack for life should you want to move it with you, spend the extra cash on this one. I can see why other folks with more clothes than myself have purchased multiples of this. It won’t disappoint — as long as you have the space for it!

BEST CLOTHING RACK EVER!!!!
This product deserves10 stars. It is very strudy for holding clothes and lightweight for assembly. It was delivered the next day. I put it together by myself in less than 10 minutes. I use it for overflow, to keep clothes neat and organized without getting wrinkled in an overstuffed closet. I had about 3 other clothing racks which were cheaper and broke easily. It's worth the price with less stress and aggravation of finding all of your clothes on the floor because the rack broke. The instructions are easy to understand. Thank you for all the previous reviews. They helped me to decide to purchase this model, after looking at over a dozen others. I highly recommend and will purchase another one for my laundry room to hang dry wet clothes. Hopefully this review helps you!

Rack them up and love the sturdiness
I now own a total of three of these racks and love them - they are easy to put together and assemble in minutes. They are very sturdy and hold a lot of inventory. I also love that they stack and can make for a smaller space. I highly recommend these for personal or if you are a reseller like me. The only thing that I would change is the top bar be longer with more choices for height - they would be excellent for long eve gowns or prom if they could expand to be higher not to drag.....
