Absolutely love it, but,,, it already broke 😭
It seemed to b well made, but it turns out it's made from really soft plastic so the pressure from the sling causes the clip to break off... I used it for about a week b4 it fell off on its own.. I even wore it iwb to protect it.. couldn't save it from poor manufacturing .. even really made by zippo

Great Zippo holder but can be a little brittle
Have always loved this style holder. Can clip on pants ,shirts, just about anything. 1 issue is if you catch clothing wrong or holder against something it will likely break as the hinge part being plastic is a weak part. Last one lasted 4 years 😉🇺🇸

Two broke before I could even use them.
First one I received I put on my belt to try it out and it felt loose so I took it off and looked closer to find that one of the two points connecting clip to the unit was broken. I got a replacement from Amazon within a couple days and the new one was not broken so I put it on and walk out the door. I hop in my car and it barely bumps against my car seat as I get in and I hear my zippo hit the ground. Figured it popped out of the cradle but nope still secure but the clip broke off and both connecting points were broken In the same spot as the first broken z-clip. The thing would be great but they used junk plastic and it has a weak point that makes it utterly useless. If it didn't break so easily I would have loved it. Got a refund and ordered the leather pouch with belt clip, hopefully that one won't be so crummy.

Low profile, and easy access
It's a rugged little product here, I was worried about it breaking, but it's so small that there's not much to break. It holds my pipe Zippo on my belt ready for action. Now I wear it on the right side of my belt, and normally that's fine, even driving a car however, for whatever reason, when I'm in the passenger seat I have trouble. If I get in, it's not a big deal, but when I get out, the lighter falls out. I docked it 1 star for this because I think it's partially on my end (low slung sports car), and you can't expect a huge positive lock with a design like this. All around a nice product, good if you want to show off your lighter, or if you want an unobtrusive way to carry your lighter without it in a pocket.

Kinda Sheep!
Although they are nice looking and they hold the zippo firmly in place, the plastic that holds the belt clip to the main body breaks very easily. I've purchased this twice and they both broke in the exact same spot after light use. I purchased a second time thinking maybe it was user error but nah. They kinda suck. I gave 3 stars for concept but execution killed it. Apparently you're not allowed to sit down with these things still attached to your belt.

I like it.
I've found that all of the other pouches available for Zippos have a snap that scratches the lighter. I ruined a $38 Zippo before I found that out, so I tried this one out. The one I had before was sturdy and protective enough, but it had a loop and scratched up the lighter, so I looked for an alternative with a clip. Having a clip is much more convenient, especially when you change your pants every day. At least that's what I do... sometimes... I waited before I reviewed this so I could live with it for a while. I've found that it doesn't scratch up my lighters - and I've been using it with the Black Ice model as well which is about as shiny and chromy as you can get. It's easy to place and remove the lighter when it's on your belt - not so easy when it's loose. The lighter IS fully exposed, so you need to be mindful of that - I opened the lighter up a couple times while getting out of the car because it swiped the steering wheel. But I feel confident wearing it. Would I get under a car and start replacing starters with this thing on? NO! Why would you wear ANYTHING like this on your belt under a car and not expect it to fall off/break/destroy the lighter? That's just idiocy. So far, the clip has held up quite well. It feels sturdy and strong and I haven't had anything resembling a problem keeping it on my belt. For $5, I don't think you can complain about the quality at all. Ideally, I'd like a fully-enclosed housing that doesn't scratch the lighter with a clip. But this is as close as I've come.

A MUST HAVE FOR ALL ZIPPO CARRIERS!!
How can you beat this?!? It's the first clip made of plastic. Converts your zippo into something that resembles a chrome accented pager/beeper..... That just so happens to light things on fire instead of beeping or alerting you in anyway(unless you set off a fire alarm). Seriously though, this is so much cleaner looking and much more convenient to use than those leather zippo pouches that resemble something my great grandfather would have used while riding horseback into town to get fresh milk and eggs. Even my girlfriend uses one of these for her zippo. She obviously doesn't attach it to her belt or pocket but she does use it to keep her zippo at the top of her purse and accessible at all times. I highly recommend this for anyone who carries a zippo with them regularly. You will not be let down with this purchase. 5 STARS!!

Clip zippo
Me ha gustado este clip. Me llego antes de lo previsto, muy bien envuelto, es original, por el precio pensaba que no lo iba a ser pero si es original y encaja perfectamente en el zippo normal.

Broke and exploded
it was fine for the first while but then after a light bump it exploded off my belt sending my zippo to the ground, im luckiy it wasnt near a storm drain, this happend because the failpoint of this product are two tiny plastic rings the size of a millimeter at the hinge and when the break the spring just sends the whole thing flying

Handy.
I set out looking for the usual belt pouch, as my zippo keeps falling out of my pocket at work. I tried this instead and my lighter clips in and out easily without any of the bending too much, a lot less fiddly than the button down flap on the pouches. I did worry this may be a bit flimsy as its made of plastic, but it seems quite good quality and sturdy. Also shows off whatever design may be on your zippo.
