Excellent product that’s easy to use. We use them all the time. Buying in bulk keeps the cost down. Strong plastic that cuts nicely on the container’s blade. Several uses per unit. Using it with the proper container keeps the smell down.

Highly recommend. I've had two domestic short hairs for 12 years and have tried a number of different methods for litter box/poo disposal -- including all the biodegradable options. The Litter Genie by far is the best option I've found. It takes the least amount of upkeep and holds in the odor very well. Since this review is just for the refill bags and not the contraption itself (which I also highly recommend) I'll keep it to just that. These bags are sturdy (my husband popped one once trying to pack in more poo, but it's never happened to me!) and you get more bang for your buck with the multi-packs. Only negative is that I dinged them one star in "Ease of Use" because you'll occasionally get a refill that is difficult to start (once you remove the plastic ring, you have to pull out the bag a bit to fit it into the genie itself. Sometimes it feels like you'll never find the opening and you end up pulling a bunch of the bag out, which you'll have to figure out how to stuff back in.) But I've been buying these for years now and they're few and far between. Takes a sec to get fast at loading them in and anticipating when it might be time for a new refill (there's a black line in the bag material itself -- when you see that line, start being cautious) but worth the learning curve. As for the seller, came on time and as promised! No issues.

they only sent me one refill instead of the 4 . I returned and I hesitate to purchase again here. The product is great. helps make scooping and dumping litter easier for me as I live in a condo community and have to take the filled bags to the back of the community to trash. Contains the order completely.

Great bundle for the price.

I buy these Litter Genie refill bags because I use a Litter Genie as my dog poop-bag disposal system. It lives on my front porch, tucked just out of view, and it is hands-down the most hygienic, odor-contained setup I’ve found. The refill bags fit perfectly, install easily, and do what they’re supposed to do: keep everything sealed so you’re not dealing with stink or leaks between trash days. It’s one of those unglamorous purchases that quietly makes life better. If you use a Litter Genie for cats, great. If you repurpose it for dogs like I do, even better. Two thumbs up.

I am soooooo happy that I bought a Litter Genie. Why I hadn't bought one years ago is a mystery. I have three cats and the Litter Genie has been such a help. I ordered the multi pack of refills because with three cats, I don't want to run out of liners. The liners really do keep the oder locked in. I have had friends and relatives over and none of them have ever smelled cat poo. One liner will last a full week in my house. Less cats, longer use. I clean out the litter box at least 3 times a day. It is more convenient with the litter genie sitting right there and I don't have to worry about a stinky trash can or room. Not the easiest thing to load into the Litter Genie. If you're not careful, the whole thing will come out wrong and you'll find yourself reloading the bag back into the dispenser manually. That is a major headache. It would be nice if they could put a starter pull tab at the beginning to help get the first piece out. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they do work and definitely control the smell. I'll be a return customer for sure

I have been using the litter genie for about two years now. I find this a great way to store used litter until it is time for the weekly trash to come. Regarding the 4 pack refills, I always have a difficult time finding a 4 pack at my local pet store. Buying them individually or in a 2 pack you will always pay more. The price is slightly less than what is available at my local PetSmart, and this saved me the hassle of going there only to find that these are not in stock. The bags fit into my original Litter Genie that is gray. I have two cats, a 12 year old calico named Honey and a 3 year old ragdoll named Suki. We can usually get about a month per refill using the Litter Genie bags. If you have one cat, I am sure you could easily have one refill last a few months. As I have not used them that long, I do not know if the odor would be significant after that amount of time. However, I have been impressed that the smell does not seem to permeate out of the bags or the system. I have looked into alternatives to using the bags, but this is the most straignt forward method that is meant specifically to use with the Litter Genie. You tear off a black tab on the top, lift the top part out of the inside of the unit that is on a hinge, pull the bag out a little and pull it down past the spring loaded cover. When the bag is almost empty, you will see a black line on the outside of the bag. This is a great indicator if you become low on refills that it is definitely time to order a new one. I can't picture a life without my Litter Genie!
