I’ve had off and on issues connecting to radios with the cable. I know it’s not the radio itself or the laptop as I’ve programmed other radios from my laptop and used different cables to connect to the radio.

Works with the XPR5550e but not with the XTL5000... Definitely would not recommend.

Worthless cable, improperly wired. Does not work. Waste of $40

This product needs a better quality assurance test before it is sent out to the customer. There is something wrong with the way it connects to the Motorola radio, the signal is intermittent versus the OEM cable purchased from Motorola, proprietary cable. This will be the only time that I will purchase this cable through this vender carrier.

Bought this about a month ago. Finally got the chance to test it. Doesn't work. Multiple XTL5000 and multiple XTL2500 and multiple computers and doesn't work. Tested on XP, Windows 7 and 11. Do not suggest this cable.

Does not work with OEM motorola software. Dont waste your time or money.

This entire cable is not even wired properly. Would not connect to my system or radio. The way this cable is wired, it would never work. Two of these wires are even soldered together when they shouldn’t be!
