Pl8 Pl8-4300 Canning Funnel, 6" L X 5-1/4" W X 3-1/2" H

I just started canning this year, and bought a couple of different funnels, not having a clue what was going to work for me. Well, I love this thing. I made quite a bit of fruit juices from my apple and pear trees, and canned it, and this was a life savor. The headspace gauge on the side is SUPER. And the funnel base really does keep the jar edges clean. I can't imagine canning without it, and if anything ever happens to it, I'll be buying another as fast as I can. So very handy.

I bought this for the markings that are supposed to show the headspace measurements . It is not accurate and I had to get a sharpie and a ruler to mark the correct measurement. I was canning with someone who has been canning for many years and she confirmed that the markings are not accurate. It works fine as a funnel, but I wouldn't waste my money on this if you are buying it for the headspace markings! I gave it a 2 only because it does work as a funnel.

Works well, but I wish it were all metal. Suspect lower life expectancy due to plastic bottom.

Nothing to dislike about this funnel. Best one I have ever used. It's sturdy, yet lightweight, just perfect for canning as well as many others uses. Absolutely love it. I sure hope you get more in as I wanted to get one for my daughter.

like that it has the fill line measurements. also I boil this before I use it. not sure why you can't do that as some people suggest. it works great. I don't leave it in there long... just enough to kill germs.

Works for wet or dry ingredients. We’ve used it for several days of canning. I’ve also used to transfer dry ingredients into longer term storage.

This works really well on wide mouth jars. It works on the Regulars as well. I like that the hot food never touches the plastic, only the steel.
