LP GEAR N44-7 stylus compatible with Shure M44-7 cartridge

Great for scratching. Clear highs and good solid bass. They are worth it.

The LP Gear n44-7 is compatible with the beloved Shure M44-7. They do work for all sorts of heavy scratching, BUT (and it's a big but) they need 2 grams more tracking force than the original Shure stylus. I'm sure that will lead to more record wear. I can set my original Shures at 2 1/2 grams and they stick to the grooves like gum on a hot day. The LP Gear n44-7 need 4+ grams to keep them from jumping out of the groove.

It didn't fit my Shure M44-7 cartridge properly, and only got sound out of one speaker.

This was my first replacement. I still have my M44-7 and I had them a little over five years. The new N44-7 was an easy install and the sound was great but after two days of use the needle broke. I'm thinking that it was probably a bad make of the N44-7. I'll try again if it does the same thing I will never purchase one again. I'm a professional Dj and I know what I'm doing. I really hope that the next one lasts more that two days SMH.

I bought them and they don't fit, it is very difficult to put, one broke from two i got, i do not recommend, totally dissapointed, too cheap make, it damaged My Shure cartridge

Some of the best ones so far, I had the blue ones on recently and these are superior in when it comes to scratching and sound quality.
