White Birch is often planted as a garden and ornamental tree, grown for its white bark and gracefully drooping branches. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree, typically reaching 15–25m tall with a slender trunk and a crown of arched branches with drooping branch-lets. The bark is white, often with black diamond-shaped marks or larger patches, particularly at the base It is a fast growing tree, increasing by up to 1 metre a year, but is relatively short-lived. They are shallow rooted they may require water during dry periods until they are well established. They grow best in full sun planted in deep, well-drained soil but will also grow well in heavy clay and nutritionally poor shallow soils. Suitable for acid, neutral and alkaline soils and can grow in very acid soils. It cannot grow in the shade but can tolerate strong winds but not maritime exposure. The sap can be drunk straight from the tree or fermented into a beer. The sap is rich in sugars and can be concentrated into a syrup by boiling off the water. Review: Success! - I purchased 100 seeds from this seller, and (so far) i have a 40 tree yield. Some seeds are still germinating. They do not all come at the same time!!! It's also important to understand, that birch trees need to be dormant in the cold for around 60-90 days before attempting to germinate them. There are several instructional videos on YouTube on how to do this properly. Basically, you need to soak them in water for a day or two, then lay them into a wet paper towel, fold it up, stick it Ina ziplock, and leave in your fridge for a few months. It simulates winter. You'll get better results if you line up their cycle with the actual seasons, because their growth is very governed by nature. This is my first time growing trees, so I'm don't have much feedback on the quality of the seed. I'm very pleased with the amount i got, on my first try. 😃 Thank you! Review: Waste of 3 weeks of your time - I had these in a peet ball tray with a covered clear lid creating the best environment conditions. Would not buy them again. Not one of the thirty I planted sprouted. Tried them in my Hydoponic unit next and still did not sprout after 2 weeks. Clean Room environemnt

2 popped up.
2 popped up. But left with only 1 after the larger one shaded out the smaller one. So plant giving seeds space.

Some did successfully germinate
10 out of 50 seeds germinated and grewafter cool stratification like directions indicated. I think that’s mostly successful but I haven’t tried other birch seedlings to compare.
