Bought this for my golden retriever not really knowing whether it would be the right size or if she would like it or if she would do what Goldie's always do ie chew things. But it's been perfect for her. I used it every day in the recent hot weather and she went straight on it each time I put it out on either the grass or patio. I put my feet on it and it really did feel cool. However, when I was telling other dog owners about how good we had found it, a few of them had found their dogs had chewed theirs and the liquid gel had come out. But for us, it's excellent.

I was unsure whether to get this or not , but I'm so glad I did. My dogs love them which is saying a lot as they struggle in the heat being chocolate labs. My partner even laid on them to see if they actually cool you down to which he was amazed how much they did. Arrived on time clean no damage and great value for money. Going to by more for the car and camping trips

Bought this for our standard sized labradoodle during the heatwave. We've had cool mats before which she's always managed to put her claws through, and sadly this one was no different with her managing to pierce it within a few hours. However, as it is made up of 6 larger squares, individually sealed with it's own gel, we were able to cut off the 2 damaged squares, leaving four intact! Obviously it's smaller, but it still serves it's purpose. The size (originally!) was absolutely perfect and she was able to lie down completely on it, so if you looking for one to fit a larger dog, this would do it! The coolness works well, and it folds up in a square size for storage. I have to admit to also using it during the very warm nights putting it on the bed so my legs from the knees down where resting on it! This worked very well and was very cooling, so it's not just for use by pets!

I have a springer spaniel. And the size is perfect! I think a Labrador would fit on it but you would struggle if your dog was any bigger. He sleeps on it every night. It cools him down for about half a night then he finds somewhere else to sleep. Well worth buying.

I do not usually write reviews but feel the need to let everyone know that this is a great product in theory as it works to cool your pet from the heat. But after only two weeks use it has sprung several leaks… And therefore I’m on able to use it for my dog as I’m worried about the contents being dangerous for the dog. Shame because she really liked it and I’m not sure whether to replace it or not now as it didn’t last long at all. I have a chocolate LabradorWho is very laid-back and not destructive in anyway so the wearing tear on his mat was very quick. For light use. I would’ve hoped for better quality for the price.

I wasn’t sure on the sizing. I got an XL but a L would have been for my 10 month old Boxer.He seems to like it and it helped keep him co in the warm weather

HI Bought this for my Engergetic Overweight Labrador Lovely size perfect fit but it broke quite quickly and The gel is leaking and is no longer available to return Shame it was good value for money .

Excellent cool mat, stays cooler than other mats I've brought in past. Although it now has a hole in it from my girls claws which are trimmed regularly.
