The Les Paul copy, single cut away. A guitar for less than £200.00, This is the 1st Benson I have purchased, on the whole fairly impressed. nice guitar, no setting up required, nice low action, nice paint work on the body. probably change the bridge to one with rollers and change the tuners, pick ups powerful enough for a practice guitar. Negatives, two nasty chips on two of the fret ends, on the neck binding near the body which will require filling, frets surface, scratchy between the 5th to 7th frets, probably disappear with wear from playing (bending strings) The fret ends will need a bit of dressing, no rattle when playing, frets seem level, on the whole fair, for the price, A bit could be spent on this budget price instrument to improve the general playability.

I bought this package as I wanted a guitar that I could practice on and also play Rocksmith. My first electric guitar, I really like this guitar. It has a nice light action which makes playing it for a longer period easier as my fingers don't get painful as quick as on my acoustic guitar. The case is nice, but the pocket on the front won't hold much. The amp is small but does a good job, with a rudimentary overdrive button.My only negative with this guitar is the finish where you can see brush strokes of the red colour on the white trim.For the price this is a nice first guitar and I would recommend it.
