Clear and entertaining introduction to a difficult and deep subject. Well-written, affordable, and a reference I'll keep with me and would recommend even to experts within the field.

I used the textbook as an important reference for teaching my crystallography class in North Carolina State University. This book is very easy to follow and comprehensive. It builds everything chapter by chapter with good logic flow. It would be even better if the book can add some content about metric tensor based calculation of plane spacings and basis of real and reciprocal space in the book. The book is highly recommended for anyone who wants to know crystallography and diffraction techniques
