Pristine Condition and Secure Packaging
From my understanding, I am writing a review of the Champ main wing, not the plane. But I would like to talk about flying the plane too. With that said, I am really pleased with this product. The wing came in a white box that was packed with a filler brown paper and the wing was perfect and in mint condition. Although it is a darker orange than my original wing, it is more than what I was expecting. I agree with others that say it's a pretty steep price, but that's something to expect when you're really in the hobby. Now, for those that think this is an "easy to fly" rc plane, it's not. Unless you live in nevernever land and there is NO wind, not even an occasional breeze, around your house or park or wherever you fly, it'll be quite an experience trying to learn to fly with no control. This is a light-weight, hobby grade, remote controlled aircraft. It requires a large area with no wind or a large gymnasium. The foam, remote, battery, and even the ultra-micro servos are high quality for the scale they're in. These components are legitimate and need to be understood before ridiculed. As with every area of R/C, you will spend well over the original price of the product, some more then others. Something that doesn't leave the ground (such as remote controlled cars) requires less for repair finances. But, with planes and helicopters, a crash is a crash and 99% of the time you'll have to spend money to get back in flying condition. If you are going to really invest in learning how to fly, my advice to you is to be patient and don't expect to be an expert just because this is a learners' plane.Although I own other R/C devices and have even built some myself, because of the small scale it is hard to fine tune this plane. I would suggest bringing it into a hobby shop and having a professional tune it for you. That way you aren't trying to fly something that can't even fly straight on its own!All in all, I found this a good buy and I love flying this plane. Good luck on your future flights!

Lightweight and fragile
So, the wing is not invincible. obviously, or you wouldn't be on here buying a new one! That said, you should know by now that the champ isn't a toy for children. It's a hobby quality beginners plane for adults. I learned how to fly with it, and thus far only broke one main wing and one tail. But to be fair, I crashed the thing so many times its amazing there's anything left at all! So go ahead and get your self an extra, just.. don't buy it from Anderson RC! I got a broken wing sent to me, and after 3 weeks of trying to return it.. And getting rude emails! They finally sent me a return slip, which they expect ME to pay the return shipping on! Seriously, any other seller! I've used Hobby marketplace, best service stores, and pto mart(which I was able to easily return something to) All those sellers were great!

Fits perfect!
Boy, these things break easily. My kid snapped off the wing of his RC Champ the first time he flew it. But fortunately, the replacement wing was easily available and easy to attach. We removed the old one by carefully slicing through the glue bond on the underwing with a long bladed exacto knife and put this replacement on with Elmer's all-purpose glue. The plane seems to fly fine now.Total replacement time, including removing the old wing was about 1 hour.

Great little rc, but wing replacement is a bit of a hassle.
The champ is a great beginner rc. It is easy to fly and inexpensive, but it hates wind. After trying to fly in about 15mph wind, a gust sent it hard into the ground snapping the foam one piece wing in half at the fuselage. I ordered a new wing immediately and it was delivered in a little over a week. Replacing the wing requires cutting off the old one with a razor/hobby knife and attaching the new one with epoxy or double sided tape. I used the epoxy and it worked great. Just make sure it is the right kind for a foam plane. The new wing was easy to line up on the fuselage because it has grooves in it. It was a bit of a hassle to shave off all of the old tape and remove the old wing, but the new one has held up well and looks pretty much like it did the day I bought the champ. I only wish it came with the original decals:(

The Plane Crash
As I was impressing my neighbors with my airborne acrobatics, my plane suddenly spiraled out of control and careened to the ground. The absence of fire and smoke was noted, but the carnage was evident immediately. My plane's wing had snapped in two.Upon searching Amazon's ample library of amazing products, my eyes settled on the perfect replacement for my bifurcated wing. After a couple of days of anxious waiting, the wing arrived, and a 5 minute surgery (wingectomy with wing implantation) was performed. My plane was nearly restored to its former glory - it lacked the decals that came with the original. Regardless, within minutes I was soaring through the skies, ready to crash in spectacular fashion.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Don't waste you money on this JUNK. I bought this for my nephew and on it's first flight (on grass) the wing broke. So I ordered a new wing for it put it on and on second flight (on grass) the wing broke again. What a piece of junk and this company who sells this crap should be ashamed of themselves for making this junk. I could see if this plane sold for say $10 bucks it would be worth it but for close to $100? Are you kidding? I am not sure who is writing all these positive reviews on this plane but lets say the company must be filling the ballot boxes.

great replacement part
This is the exact type of wing that I needed and it comes with 2 strips of double-sided tape so you are ready to go right when you get it. I wish that they had the decals like the original wing has, but I wouldn't mark them down by any means for not having decals.Great shipping times too. They got here right when they said they would arrive.Definitely suggest buying products from this seller! I will when I need new replacement parts.
