Oxford Finance and Banking does it well
The dictionary was really well put together. I was able to have questions answered before I even thought of them. It helped me understand another BA book I was reading and looking things up.

Excellent Dictionary for financial terms
This is the counterpart of the US Baron's dictionary for financial terms. Both are excellent and cover the market terminology extensively. Beware new versiond of both dictonaries are comming out during the month of April 2014, so a bit of patience and you get the latest version.

Seems to cover everything I look up
Hard to say much about a dictionary! The dozen or so things I've looked up have been clearly covered and, where appropriate, there are cross-references to related terms. It's pretty convenient, I trust the authorship more than a quick online search (which of course has its place too) and it's clearly presented. No doubt dimensions are in the product info however, it's approximately A5 size and around an inch thick. Glad I bought this and I would recommend it to anyone with a less than perfect finance and banking lexicon. For context, I am studying an MSc and pick it up regularly in the context of whatever else I may be studying for my corporate finance module.

Does what it says on the cover!
I started work in the Financial sector so needed something to give me the basics. This book fitted the bill perfectly, there hasn't been a word of phase that I haven't been able to find in this book. Even has some sections on specials areas of finance to give you an over view of a certain subject, instead of just a few lines on the subject.
