COMPLETE GARBAGE & WASTE OF MONEY
DON'T BUY, complete waste of money to spend the extra money on a this new MEMBRANE HOUSING. Upon purchasing i placed it on my system & had absolutely no water. I took the housing off & looked it over to discover that all 3 places where lines go were completely sealed with no way for water to come or go. I would rate this product a ZERO if i could as the quality of this product. Ive ran into the same problem with multipurpose after market membrane housing replacements. I recommend keeping your original membrane housing to your system & just replacing the filter.

Nicely made RO membrane housing
Important note: the pink connector is also a check valve and it matters where it goes in the system. Otherwise, this is a nicely made RO membrane and housing that I used to convert a 3 stage filter into a classic RO filter after the manufacturer (Express Water) told me it couldn't be done.

Didn't work.
Didn't allow water pass through. I even got on the phone with "Perfect Water" technician, and they walked me through step by step and said it was hooked up correctly but still does not work.

Used for “water saver” RO setup
I already have a reverse osmosis and deionizing filter for a marine aquarium setup to make salt water for water changes. A single RO filter wastes a lot of water, about 2-3x the amount of purified water it makes. I took the waste stream, removed the flow restrictor and fed the waste water into this second RO membrane input. I moved the flow restrictor to this second RO membrane and combined the output with the first RO output. This doubles the purified water output and reduces the amount of waste water going down the drain. So far it is working great, tds is about 3 from the combined RO output and 0 after the DI resin bed filter.
