Purchased to use in my new-to-me BMW X3. It is at just the right height where I can see the phone screen, but where the phone does not block AC vents or the view of car center console buttons. Easy to clip the phone in and easy enough to get the phone out. Reasonably sturdy. The adjustable base allows the unit to mount securely in the cup holder. My phone is a Pixel 6 Pro with a hard case. The phone with case measures 6-5/8" x 3-3/16".

No more juggling my phone and accidentally turning off the GPS or changing the view. Annoying and unsafe at any speed! Finally decided I would give this a try. I have a Toyota Yaris that has pull out cup holders to the left and right of both front passengers on the dashboard so I thought this design would be ideal to hold my phone while driving so I can see and hear the GPS well. My phone, Samsung S-10, fit right in there very securely but it would easily hold a smaller or larger phone. I just had to turn a dial to expand the arms inside the cup holder and it was very secure. I could easily rotate the phone to get the perfect angle to see while driving and still keep my eyes on the road. I am often dropping off or picking up items at different places all over town and this has changed my life! I wish I had done this long ago but now I will never be without it and will take it with me when I travel out of town by air so I can use in my rental car. Price is comparable to other, similar items, and quality seems to be spot on. I am glad I chose this model.

I like that fits snugly in a trucks large cupholders. I like the ease of putting it together. I like it comes with pieces that come off making it a fit for cars also. The clasp that hold it on the side are positioned well so as not to engage any of the buttons, unlike most phone holders made for the car. I like its made with a cord cut out so doesnt bend your phone cable and cause shorts in the wire. The phone nest very well within the holder and the cushioned plate design will protect from all the bumps a big rigs has while driving. Its also pretty light weight. I dont like how shallow it sits. It does not telescope in height so it is too low for ez viewing in the high tractor seat but its not unusable. It rotates from left to right so passenger or driver seat can view it. Overall a good unit. Next model needs about 2-3" of telescoping pole to make it taller when needed

I purchased this during Prime Day. For the price, this purchase was worth it. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max that would not fit in my cupholder while I'm driving. This solved the problem. It is able to hold my phone (with the case still on), be able to be moved around, and fits perfectly in my cupholder with the adjustment feature. I have not felt the base move at all since I installed it. I think the best part of this holder is the low profile. I needed a low profile holder as anything higher would start to block radio & A/C controls in my car. This was at the perfect height with my phone standing vertically. The package came quickly and also had extra "clips" that can be used for even wider cup holders, though I doubt anyone will truly need it. If my mind does change about this after a month+ of use, I will adjust my review.

My wife uses this in her Prius to hold her iPhone. It works well and adjusted to fit the cup holder securely without moving around. She even has her phone in a folio-style cover and this holder was still able to hold the phone securely with the folio cover open (i.e. with the folio cover folded around the back of the phone), so it seems fairly adaptable to different phone configurations. We like the low profile of this holder because the Prius console is close to the cupholders and we didn't want a holder that would hold the phone up so high that it would block the console/radio/heater, etc. This one is just the right height and adjusts easily to accommodate a good viewing angle for the driver.

As a basic phone holder, yea, this does the job. It has bumpers that hold it securely into any cupholder, comes preassembled, and is easy to put in and take your phone off. Over time, however, the screw that held the rotating joint in place started to loosen on itself, and my phone would droop down while driving. Not only that, but the actual clamping mechanism would start to lock up. I had to pry the sides off to get my phone out most of the time, as the button stopped working. I wish that this was more sturdy, as I like how my phone was held in place, but sadly I have to rate it 3 stars because of how easy this was to fall apart.

I got this to hold my phone upright in my CRV instead of putting it flat on the center table under the arm rest. I put this phone holder in the passenger side cupholder and angle it so it faces me. This works great as the phone cord pops out right below it from the hidden storage below. Very clean install. I squeezed the holder sides to just grab the phone. This way, when I get in I just slide my iPhone 6S down in from the top and plug it in. I don't have to adjust the sides tighter or looser every time I use it, the phone just slides in and out of the open top. I recommend it. The only problem, it when I take my coffee mug along. It is a Bubba mug and it's just fat enough that it touches against the phone holder next to it, sort of a tight fit but that's the car not the phone holder.

Unfortunately, I couldn't use the original magnetic mount for my new iPhone 12, because it requires a thin metal disk placed inside the case, which interferes with the phone's inductive charging. I tried a suction cup mount but couldn't get it to attach reliably to my 2014 Acura RDX's windshield; eventually, it would loosen and fall, especially in the Texas summer heat. So I decided to try this "cup phone" mount. Perfect! It's secure, fits my console's cup holders, and provides a wide range of positions for comfortable viewing. It's plastic (of course), but seems to be well-built and should hold up well over time. And the price ($18.99) makes it a great value compared with the "brand name" mount. Very happy with my purchase, and would definitely recommend. Note: This mount is available in two heights. Measure to determine which one is best for you, making sure that things like the floor shift level won't obstruct your view of the phone.
