I got this meat grinder for grinding my own meat for dumplings and I was shocked at how well it worked and how easy it is to clean! All parts come apart easily, there’s a giant cleaning brush that cleans the inside of the grinder. I feel like it really does get a good deep clean. Another huge perk is that the case itself houses each part separately, great for those of you who have too many kitchenaid products or kitchen gadgets in general. It keeps all pieces in one compact case with the product on it!

I made the mistake of thinking that I could wash the components in the dishwasher. It is completely ruined. The finish is gone and the surface is black and chalky. I used it once and now it's in the garbage. I will never buy it again. Get a Chinese stainless model, it is better quality than the KitchenAid

Meat and juice pushed back into the head of my blender. Next day it smelled up the entire kitchen of rotted meat! There are videos on YouTube showing the happening to other people as well. Found those after I destroyed my expensive machine using this meat grinder. Just don't do it. Shame on Kitchenaid for producing this thing the way they did.
