Don't BUY!!
My original review is below. Upstar has zero customer service. My monitor isn't working anymore and I have no way to get ahold of technical support. If your looking to buy this just try and visit Upstar.com....you can't! Any number you get is disconnected. Shame company. Says it's a "USA" company...it's not. DONT NOT BUY!!!!Great monitor good price. It really is beautiful. Only done some small scale gaming and so far it's had no issues. Only thing bad about it....it has one dead pixel, which I only notice occasionally. Not really a big deal to me.

Having one dead pixel wasn't so bad, but my major issue with it was that every time I had to move it and unplug it from power, it reset EVERYTHING. The menu went to Chinese, and half the time, only part of the menu was on the screen. The first time I set it up, I had it plugged into a UPS that turned off when the computer turned off. It took me 45 minutes to figure out how to fix it, and customer service was no help. I figured it was a fluke, until I rearranged my desk, and had to unplug it to move it to another outlet. This time, the menu was in a different place, only the top third of it was visible, and I only had seconds before the sleep function took over, because it refused to accept that anything was plugged into it. once the sleep function took over, I had to power it off, and back on, to mess with the menus again.Needless to say, I returned the product. The only reason I gave it two stars is because when it worked, the image was great, but I don't recommend it for gaming. The refresh rate was low, causing blurring and cuts in fast video.

Perfect monitor for pwning noobs at 4k
Works as advertised. Bought this for gaming at 4k using a single GTX 980ti. You must use the displayport cable in order to get 60hz at 4k. Check your video card to make sure it has a displayport output, or you are going to be stuck at 30hz with an HDMI cable.Once connected with displayport, I did not need to adjust any settings on the monitor or in my PC's control panel in order for the monitor to switch to 60hz.Pros-4k resolution on a TN panel. The colors are not as "deep" as would be found on an IPS panel, but the picture quality is superb nonetheless. The color and contrast make for a picture that is just a bit too cold out of the box. Five minutes of adjustment will solve this and give you the picture quality you are looking for.Heavy bezel, it does not shift or shake while moving your mouse. It also looks very solid and well made. All attachments provided out of the box. This is a huge value. You receive the power cord, HDMI cable, displayport cable, and a dual link DVI cable. Again, you need to use displayport in order to get 60hz.No dead pixels. A pleasant surprise.Cons-The box for the monitor looked like it had gone through hell. It was worn on the edges, the corners were crushed, the seams were hastily taped over. I thought for sure I was going to be pulling out a broken mess. Once inside the box, the styrofoam blocks on the corner of the monitor were equally beat up (and unevenly cut from the start). Thankfully, the monitor was just fine. I cannot take a star off for this, because the monitor itself is fine. But, boy was I worried. The connections are located on the bottom of the monitor, some of which are close behind the stand attachment point. It's a pain to get things connected.Neutral-No matte finish. The cover for the monitor is glass. I game in a dark room, so this is not an issue for me. If you are gaming in a lit room, however, you will see glares and reflections.Praise Lord Gaben. PC Master Race.

Great for price if you get a good one.
I had to send my first one back under warranty because it suddenly would display only some chines writing menu and had a bad pixel from the start. They sent a replacement that has worked relatively fine for 2+ years now. Sometimes I have to restart my PC to get it to detect the monitor on wake up, although I cant be sure its not a video card issue.

Best screen for the price!
The short version: CHEAP! Great quality for the price. Works like a charm and it's absolutely beautiful! The screen would be perfect if it had a higher refresh rate, a less glossy screen finish, some units come with a dead pixel or two, dust can get behind the glass panel...ouch.Also, don't kid yourself. This is a 28" monitor...it's freaking massive! (I use it as a TV, too, and I sit five feet away from it)Good:I was slightly skeptical buying this monitor! I work in the tech industry and I was looking for a screen that would allow extreme multitasking. Even if I didn't have two extra old monitors, this screen would give ample workspace for any video editor/producer. I am blown away by the image quality, too! Colors look fantastic and are fairly accurate when compared to higher-end monitors. For gaming, like most people, I've found 4k gaming to be tricky for most semi-modern games.I have a 970GTX 4gb in my computer....and I've been able to play Assassin's Creed Syndicate at 1440p on this screen (looks almost just as good as 4K), Crysis at 4K (highest settings and everything!), and Counter Strike Go in 4k. Scaling older games to 4K is a blast and a great way to revisit some older games :) I'm excited for the future of 4K gaming....give it three more years, and I'd bet it'll be easier on the GPU :)Bad:The only drawbacks to this screen are the following:- 60 hz refresh rate isn't great....but it's passable (note...this is only via the Displayport connection! My monitor came with the cable :) )- The screen does reflect quite a bit....dark colors become mirrors :/ I have massive windows behind and to the right of my screen....the glare is present...but not unbearable....Recommend placing this screen strategically.- I have either a dead pixel....or a piece of dust behind the glass on my screen....not sure which and not sure how to tell without tearing the screen apart (and no...I'm not going to do that).
