este equipo no funciona como debe ser contamina la señal de los medios la restauracion de los bajos es pesima no logro que eso suene bien de nimguna manera bajos suenan mal distorcionados

Nowhere in the literature or documentation is there an explanation of what this device actually does. I was hoping it was a parametric EQ, since it has a "Sweep" (Hz?) and "Wide" (Q?) controls. I had added a subwoofer to my VW Arteon, and I then needed to compensate for the factory stereo's unfortunate bass rolloff. Not knowing what the unit did, I hooked it up and ran some frequency sweeps to see that it's actually a bass harmonic and subharmonic synthesizer. It creates artificial signals that add bass an octave below and an octave above the original bass frequenc(ies). It's a rather bullheaded approach to bass restoration, crude for the following reasons: 1.) If your head unit isn't sending a full bass signal at the lower end, this will simply follow that weak signal with weakly generated harmonics. So you cannot "dial out" the poor frequency curve of your head unit; you can only mimic that response curve at different harmonics. 2.) This thing unit add manage to add a rather spastic thump to my song's bass lines, but it wasn't very musical. It was not capable of smoothing the frequency response through the 2+ octaves in the subwoofer range. Do you really want some algorithm creating a new sloppy bass line to your music? I do not. 3.) Generating a new bass note an octave lower could be pounding your subs with some pretty low frequencies... ones you might not really even want. For instance, the low E on an electric bass guitar is 41Hz. If the bass instrument is hitting this note, the "bass restorer" unit will be attempting to deliver a 20Hz signal, which most subwoofers cannot reproduce. But wait... since the unit's non-defeatable sub-bass filter can only go as low as 35Hz, this thing will NOT pass the octave-lower subharmonic of the low E note. I don't understand the point. I ended up going with the $65 Taramps Pro 2.4S DSP DSP https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2KT684L which allowed for lots of graphic and parametric adjustments. In about 20 minutes, I tuned a fairly flat response out for my subwoofer.

I had to re-attach the power pins in to the bord, they wore loose, because of that the device was not turning on. But after all, the product is worth the money. The sound quality is good.

JUST GOT AROUND INSTALLING AFTER HAVING IT SINCE MARCH SINCE VEHICLE WAS AT SHOP. I gave it a 2 STAR due to not function how it needs to bass remote doesn't do anything. No bass comes out just stays in the same setting no difference. I even set the settings for the wide and Sweep and does nothing, When playing low bass frequency music no bass does nothing I try checking RCA and everything is good power and remote and ground is good I believe it just a DEFECTIVE DEVICE.
