LaviShea Yarn Bar, 1.35 oz

I wanted it for traveling carry-on-only, and I really should have expected a "bar" be more, well, bar-of-soap like, but for some reason I pictured it as a jar of very thick cream. It's not. It's essentially a bar of soap. Even when I chipped little pieces off and warmed them, it didnt really melt or absorb into my skin. So if you're looking for a thick waxy substance to protect your skin by sitting on top of it, this will probably work for you. If you're looking for a travel/general purpose moisturizer, keep looking (just suck it up and buy the tiny tins of Nivea, or a larger bottle when you get wherever youre going, if you cant make room for some in your 3-1-1 bag).On the plus side, it smells delicious, lightly sweet and almond without being perfume-y

I really am happy with this product. My upper arms and back get extremely dry and itchy, and prickly and painful. This has been the only lotion that has actually helped and maintained the relief. This goes on smoothly and feels like it has absorbed instead of just sitting on top of my skin.I warm the bar up in my hands for a bit before I rub it on my arms. I can't speak for the other scents, but this has a light, floral almond scent. It's pleasant and very unobtrusive. I've already ordered two more so I won't run out.

Scent was very strong floral. Since no scent was defined, I'd hoped it was unscented so the aroma wouldn't transfer onto yarn. Still nice but too heavy a scent for hands.

It's small, and kind of tough to get out of the container to use, but the fragrance is nice and the job of providing lasting moisturization to dry skin is done well. The size and the container cost it a point, but I would definitely buy it again.

Awful smell. Strong smell. I know that scent is a subjective thing, but this would need to be diluted by lot to be reasonable. Otherwise, I like way it moisturizes without a greasy feeling

Very nice. I did not remove the bar from the container; I rubbed my fingers on the bar then massaged into my hands and cuticles. Not greasy, just a silky feel. Not tacky. Light fragrance. Quite nice. I have found stocking stuffers :-).

This stuff is the BOMB! I love the light scent of the Yarn Bar (almond). All natural ingredients and no Aloe. I am allergic to aloe and finding a good lotion is difficult. I use it daily and One bar lasted me about 2 yrs. No greasy feeling. No chance of spilling or applying too much.

Great to moisturize during crochet work, easy to travel with and great scent.
