Stainless Steel Backing Reinforce Plate for Motorcycle License Plate, Chrome Finish

Bought this to help fortify a license plate that was cracking on both sides (horizontally across the middle of the plate because it was hanging from the top two holes). On most motorcycles, it seems like there are only mount holes for the top two bolts. The plate allows for attaching bolts at all four corners of the plate, providing support for the bottom of the plate. This will prevent my plate from cracking the rest of the way through and landing who-knows-where. The thickness is good and has a sturdy feel to it. One side is shiny like a mirror, the other is brushed metal: dull, but still looks good. The holes are a little larger (50%?) than the holes on the license plate, allowing for some play room in attaching the plate, license plate, and the bike. Good fit, good quality, good finish. I expect this to last for the lifetime of the motorcycle. I would buy this again. I would recommend this to a friend.

Expensive but sturdy. They do the job of providing a solid backing for my motorcycle plates. Some edges are a little sharp from the stamping process. Be aware when handling.

Nice Stainless Steel backing plate for your motorcycle tag. Has some flexibility in the hole lineup slots that allows for all bolt holes to match up. Great for vibration resistance support!
