Firstly, this was delivered to me incredibly fast and I didn't need to iron it extensively (there were only a few creases - but it does get delivered in a reusable bag), which is usually an issue with other dresses ordered online, as they're usually badly creased. It also arrived before I was expecting it, which is an added bonus! I absolutely love this style of dress and was so happy to find this plain black and red one (as I have so many polka dot ones now), which I bought to wear to my university Casino-themed leaver's ball, but I'm sure I'll wear it many times - I fell in love with it once I tried it on! (The petticoat I'm wearing in the slightly shoddy phone picture was also from Dresstells - and really adds to the look!) It fits wonderfully, and is exactly as described, and goes just under the knee for me (because I'm short at 5"2). I would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking for a good quality and comfortable 50s halter. I'm a UK size 6-8 (on top), so I ordered the small, and I think it fits rather well, unlike some dresses I've ordered, which are either too big and need altering, or I can't get on! If I need another 50s halter, I'll definitely be looking with Dresstells again!

After reading the reviews I got a xxl as I'm a size 18 and it was loose/baggy.Item arrived 2 days late given it was a "prime" delivery with no black band in the middle, didn't need it anymore so sent it back.Material felt light and it wasn't restricting around my bust (34F) like I normally find with dresses, it was long enough for me to feel comfortable but not too long to look out of place on a night out.

This dress is so cute, that I both bought one and was sent one for my birthday. Unfortunately the one sent to me for my birthday didn't come with the belt and I had already sent the one I ordered back :/ However it's super cute!! I'm a US 18/UK 22/EU 48 or 50 (american bra size is 40DD so it's ample on top) and this fits well. It's a bit tight but just a bit, I think sizing up would've made it too loose (there's not a size up so that works out anyway). Super impressed with the quality, it's a nice fabric, love the ribbon halter! Also appreciate the fact that it has a side zipper. The back has fantastic corset detail which is fun! Can't wait to order more! The pictures are without a petticoat so you can see it is a full skirt, even without one.

This was another dress that was worn to the Epsom Derby. The dress is well made to a good standard. The material is soft and well stitched with no loose ends at the hems.The dress fitted perfectly as the pics show. Wearing it turned a few heads as the dress looked much more expensive on the person wearing it.This dress is ideal for all occasions and will get some good comments due to it's style and quality.Overall, this dress is money well spent in it's quality and value so I am recommending it.

I got exactly what I had expected.

Jag älskar denna klänningen. Jag kompletterade den med en röd underkjol och ett smalt rött skärp, röda skor samt rött hårband och det blev så fint! Smidigt med snörningen i ryggen då jag kunde dra åt midjan till lagom storlek. Fick till en mycket snygg 1950-tals look.
