This was a perfect fit for my 7-year-old recessed light. It was a hard-to-find item at my local hardware store, but installation was easy and the quality seems good. The brightness level is just right and matches the original almost perfectly. Time will tell about the lifespan of these LED lights, but I will probably order a few extras to have on hand when replacements are needed. I am not sure how long this style of LED bulb will be stocked, since the market seems to be shifting toward replacing the entire unit instead of just the bulb.

Perfect fit for the halogen bulbs in our Wolf cooktop hood, and they are actually brighter than the halogen bulbs. Good color to the lights, good brightness, much less heat -- and thus much less electricity used. Only question is bulb lifetime -- time will tell.

These bulbs are mostly excellent: -They are very bright. Brighter than I expected. Perhaps the old halogen bulbs these replaced were just old… but we can see what we’re doing in the kitchen now. -The light output temperature seems slightly off… (they are a bit cooler than two other brands I have nearby.) -Out of the three bulbs in the package one of them had a frequent flicker on/off strobe like effect. And because of the way lighting is run the flicker impacted the other bulb as well. (If you have this same problem remove one bulb at a time until the flickering stops.)

About 6 years ago when I finished building my "dream" house, I had a range hood that was expensive and beautiful, BUT, it used Halogen lights and I'm an efficient freak and wanted LED's Well, back in 2015 or so, the choices of LED's were very limited but I found some and was so happy to order them. Then I installed them and got enough flashing to throw a strobe party. It simply didn't work unless one of the lights was the original halogen. Fast forward to 2022 when I decided to scan them interwebs again for newer lights and maybe they'd say something about "no flicker." These said just that and after a few reviews, I thought, this might just work. And Voila! They work great!!!! No flicker and the light is not only brighter than the halogens but a much better color white so it doesn't make food like yellow. I'm sure I could have found these or similar a few years back, but I just got around to looking now and am so happy I did. Oh, how technology evolves.

so far. I have some reservations, but untill I see evidence of failure, this will get 5 stars. I have Broan QP430SS range hood that I purchased in 2017. The yellow and extremely halogen lights that came with the unit finally burnt out. These lights are bright (package says 3000 K). It is so much better than the yellow light...I can see my food that I am cooking! To be clear, the operating temp range on the box says -4F to 113F (-20C to 45C), so I have read that range hoods could get as hot as 60C and 70C. However, I could not find much information listed on websites about operating temp ranges, but I thought I would mention this caveat. In terms of older version or basic version, I still don't get it cause I ordered old version and the basic version is what was sent and looks the exact same. These are a GU10 base but a MR16 bulb size replacement. Lastly, the dimmer does work, but it is not that noticeable between the three levels. The lights do stay on for about 2-3 seconds after power goes off, but the lights do go off.

Perfect fit for replacing over sink lights in my kitchen. Purchased about 18 months ago (at time of review) and still going strong. Color temperature and brightness are as described in the listing. I replaced all the bulbs at once to keep them consistent. A few dollars cheaper than in our local big box store, and seem to have a comparable lifespan.

Great replacements. They seem as bright as the 500 lumen LED bulbs that are next to them in the fixture. These get are in the kitchen and get lots of use and the last ones lasted over 4 years. They are all glass and excellent quality.
