Does the job but is noisy

Dear Amazon Customer Service, I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the desk fans and standing fans I recently purchased through Amazon. Unfortunately, the products are not functioning as advertised. Although the motors are running and making a loud noise, the fans produce little to no airflow. The noise from the motors is also concerning, as it sounds abnormal and gives the impression that the units may be faulty or unsafe to operate. These fans were purchased for use in my workplace, where reliable cooling is essential. As they are not fit for their intended purpose, they have caused significant inconvenience and do not meet reasonable expectations for quality or performance. I would appreciate it if you could arrange an appropriate resolution, either by providing replacements that function correctly or issuing a full refund. A solid fan that’s a decent size and with working oscillation. Didn’t have any issues with noise as some of the reviews suggested; just made sure to tighten up all the parts well and use all the parts provided in the box. Assembly only took about 10 minutes so was straightforward. Admittedly, I don’t think the instructions were as clear as they could have been - no mentions of the second knob inside, no mention of the base plate and footpads, no mention of the front facing place intended to be screwed in before closing the grills. All in all, it’s a great size for my small studio apartment and works as intended.

It's been a month, and the fan still works. Which is great! I got slightly worried when I found out the actual size of the fan (I didn't look at the width closely enough), but it's actually the perfect size to fit on my desk. It's slightly dense, but still light enough to be portable. The sound it produces isn't very loud, but it's there. I was annoyed that I bought it right after the hottest day in May... which then turned out to be the saving grace for the June heatwave. Thank god! As a bonus, I could adjust the angle to blow it onto my nearby bed, which makes sleeping a *bit* better (I am used to white noise). It might be a bit weak for some people (even on its highest setting), but I think it's good enough. It's slightly difficult to assemble; I had trouble getting the back mesh on correctly. A screwdriver is needed to get the bottom screw in, but after that, it just works. If you need a small desk fan and need it as quickly as possible, this is it.

After seeing negative comments I thought I maybe I shouldn't have bought this fan but it's brilliant and very easy to put together just read the instructions and make sure you tighten up everything really tight. I found the fan to be very efficient and not noisy at all. Nothing has come unscrewed. Maybe some people are assembling this incorrectly and that's why they have issues. But no complaints from me about this fan .

Product is faulty, extremely unsafe, do not buy. I demand a refund for this fan. Upon turning on, the fan sounds broken immediately, making a clunking sound. The blades have no way of staying secure in the cage. The blades move freely and always end up pushing into the cage, causing it to stop and the motor inside to overheat.

Noise and fiddly but cheap. I couldn’t for the life of me see how the cover retaining screws fitted as too small so had to find another one
