Excellent Water Bottle in Just the Right Size...
The reason that most folks carry a "heavy" steel water bottle while in the outdoors is in consideration of the environment. But, not necessarily just because we want to keep pollution down. No, it is often because we know that the environment we will be venturing into is often extreme, and durability is key to survival. We understand that Murphy's Law is alive and well in the outdoors and we need every advantage possible.Lets face it, plastic bottle are great until you drop your pack onto a large rock or stumble and fall onto it and it comes our looking like that Dixie Cup Matt Hooper crushed in Jaws to impress Quint... They just aren't durable enough to truly depend on in unpredictable and wild places. The stainless steel used in this bottle is excellent. It is of a substantial thickness and durability without being excessively heavy. The wide mouth opening is convenient and makes the bottle easy to fill. That all being said, over the past year I've noticed how most folks, and manufacturers for that matter, are turning to either 38 oz. or 40 oz. bottles. While that may be a good choice for those out there who just want to carry more water; I find that this decision really doesn't make sense and is somewhat shortsighted. Now before you go off on a rant, please allow me to explain...To me the idea of increasing the size of a steel bottle by so little volume (about 1 cup) is senseless because it accomplishes nothing in terms of significantly improving one's hydration and just increases that weight of the bottle. Furthermore, given the expanded use of large capacity hydration systems in packs and other collapsible water carrying alternatives like a Platypus bag, etc., there are much lighter and more efficient ways of increasing the volume of water you can carry with you. Therefore, the only really valid reasons to carry a steel water bottle is 1) in the eventuality that you find yourself in a survival situation or 2) you know that you will be obtaining water in the wild. In both of these cases, you will have to find a means of purifying the water. This brings me to another reason why a 38 oz. plus bottle is a poor choice.Namely, most water purification tablets and methods are based on a 1 quart (32 oz.) volume. Simply put, that means if you fill a 40 oz. bottle with water from a stream and drop in 32 oz.s worth of purification tabs, your really not getting all the purification you thought you were. Sure you can break up additional tablets and guesstimate how much more to add, but isn't that all a rather silly pursuit? All your doing is going through your limited supply of tablets faster then necessary and let's face it, the extra juice just isn't worth the squeeze. That's why I say that this bottle is just the right size, 32 oz. With it there is no need for concocting vague and wasteful purification potions. In the end, I see it there is one significant plus side to everyone's fascination with plus size water bottles. The greater the demand for those steel behemoths, the cheaper these practical bottles become. So keep on demanding those big heavy Papa Bear bottles for $25 each, and I'll keep snatching up these Goldilocks bottles for half that. Thanks and have a great hike...

Durable and Dependable
The Nalgene Stainless Bottle is a true champion when it comes to durability and reliability. This bottle has become my go-to companion for staying hydrated on all of my outdoor adventures. The quality of the Nalgene Stainless Bottle is outstanding. The stainless steel construction ensures its longevity and resistance to wear and tear. I have used this bottle on countless hikes, camping trips, and bike rides, and it has never failed me.One feature that I truly appreciate is its leak-proof design. The tight-sealing lid prevents any spills or leaks, even when tossed into a backpack or jostled during outdoor activities. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that I can trust the bottle to keep my belongings dry and secure. The wide-mouth opening of the bottle makes it easy to fill, clean, and add ice cubes. It also allows for hassle-free drinking, as it provides a smooth flow without any annoying drips. The large capacity is perfect for staying hydrated throughout the day without needing constant refills.

large indentation below the cap threads that would make for a good place to put wire or cord to hang this ...
Solid bottle. I have the Klean Kanteen 27 oz wide and narrow mouth bottles and for everyday use prefer the Kleen Kanteens as they seem lighter. For camping, hiking, and backcountry use, this will be my go to bottle for now. Here are the reasons: more robust construction with seemingly thicker walls, large indentation below the cap threads that would make for a good place to put wire or cord to hang this over a fire if that's your thing, nests into Olicamp Space Saver Mug.The only caution is that the bottle cap tether Nalgene uses is only glued into the connectors. Mine came out when first washing the bottle. So if you're planning on clipping the bottle to your pack with the default cord, you will likely need to make some mods to the bottle for alternative ways to carry if you don't want to lose your bottle. I usually don't clip my bottles in, so not a major issue for me. If I did, I might consider a Klean Kanteen with the built-in loop on the cap. This bottle is made by Nalgene, but not in the USA. The bottle features a tapered design towards the bottom of the bottle and not a perfect cylinder like the traditional plastic Nalgenes. Not an issue for, but perhaps for some folks.Overall, I'm satisfied with this as my outdoors bottle and will of course update this review if my opinion changes in the future. My rating of four stars is taking into consideration the full utility someone may expect from the bottle (i.e. traditional Nalgene but stainless with clippable loop). For my use, I'd give this bottle closer to five stars.

Excelente producto
Me encantó esta botella por sus materiales y la forma que tiene permite que quepa en los espacios del auto para botellas, cosa que con un nalgene normal no sucede.

Top Quality! Boil water for sterilization.
I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this bottle is. Nice low profile cap that doesn't leak and the bottle nests nicely into my Stanley Adventure Camp Cook pot Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set 24oz Stainless Steel . I previously used the GSI Dukjug Stainless Steel bottle but was unable to boil water in it because the threads on the bottle are plastic. If you want to add a simple pot hanger to this bottle, check out MCQ Bushcraft: Pot Hangers. This really is a top quality product. Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set 24oz Stainless Steel

Grat? Bzgl. anderer Rezensionen ...
Danke!

Stainless Nalgene is so versatile
This is, in my experience a superb bottle for boiling water in or over a fire particularly when paired with a fish mouth spreader used as a bottle hanger that can be stored inside the bottle along with other things when transporting the bottle assuming of course, that you are not using the bottle for carrying water. I use the stainless Nalgene as part of my stainless steel nesting cook kit that is stored in a Condor h2o pouch. The kit consists of the pouch plus a tatonka stainless cup with a Stanley Cook pot inside it and the Nalgene bottle nesting nicely inside the Stanley pot. If house put all items inside their own plastic bag then the kit easily slides in and out of the Condor pouch. This is the kit I use mostly when using a fire for boiling and cooking but there is also room in the top of the pouch to carry a 100g gas canister and a gas burner in the front pocket. I have used the bottle now for 12 months problem free :)
