Healing Angel

Love it! It works and her voice is very calming.

I'm a watercolorist and listen to music while I paint, so it can't be something too loud or too 'rock'. Healing Angel is a very sweet, calming, pleasant CD. I've always liked Celtic music and this CD gives me that as well. I got this for my sister too as one of her birthday presents and she likes it too. It's KIND and gentle - soothing. Who can't use all of that in today's world? If you like Celtic music, you should find this very pleasing. I'd certainly recommend it to friends. And it's not very expensive... so, BUY IT.

WOW! This is something that we will listen to again and again. The songs have so so much meaning for us ... it expresses so much of what we feel .... especially as parents. It is calmming, soothing ... not just the music but what it says. We have purchased additional ones to give to each of our adult children and to friends.It has proven to be very soothing and beneficial for a person we know who has anxiety issues.This is wonderful.

Though Roma Downey does not sing, her words will reach into your soul for a brief moment and think of of eternity, Grace and hope. We are a sociaty that is racing toward the infinite with our eyes closed. You must pause and meditate if you are not completely indifferent to humanities condition. I would recommend the cd/mp3. For any fan of Roma Downey (and possibly the TV program "Touched by an Angel"), this is a stunningly beautiful album and true to Roma's beautiful personna and personality. It is not for the feint of heart, however, as it is rather melancholy. I do not recommend it for anyone who is feeling sad or down about a life situation. There are, on the other hand, gorgeous, gorgeous Celtic tracks on this CD as well as poems and readings. If you are feeling upbeat, you will love this CD.

Roma Downey is very pleasant and relaxing to listen to. She speaks beautifully, and touches on sensitive issues which must surely arouse memories from all listeners. Not, of course, "top ten" material but for thos people who like something more than the popular hits at times, this touches the soul. I enjoyed it immensely. Have bought 10 records to hand out for gifts! All purchased from Amazon.(Packaging to Australia, as usual, rated tops.) Surely that says it all for me.

Could not hear the vocal as it was drowned out by the music.I'm disappointed......was planing to use in funeral service...music just overpowering. So sad.

The subjects of the readings by Roma Downy touch various situations most of us confront in life (loss of a loved one, loss of your father, etc.) with an up lifting message and her heavenly, Celtic accented voice. Each reading is peaceful and calming. I recently lost my father and another close friend and I found this Healing Angel CD very comforting. I bought this CD from Amazon. The delivery was prompt and the condition was perfect.

I bought this CD as a present as I already have a copy and it is played regularly at home and in my car.Roma Downey puts a lot of her personality and feelings into what she is performing.Would recommend it highly as it has a great variety of songs and even has the song words in the CD case.

This is not a music CD - it has instrumental music in the background with Roma reading out poems/prose. The words are very thought-provoking and interesting. It feels more like each track needs to be used for an occasion (death, births etc) and not listened to as s whole. This CD will only suit depending on what you are buying it for - we bought it for our son to listen to while falling asleep - not sure it is a good idea with the number of tracks in death (like the track about the dad being dead and the dons reflection of their time together). Gave it 4 stars as individually good tracks.
