It is a strictly ok book. I have seen very positive reviews of this book on amazon.com and hence i bought it.However, i have not taken a very wise decision.The pros of the book are:a concise chapter on Pythontouches on all the important topics in data analyticsThe cons of the book are:Little depth in the topics covered. It reveals some essential things but it leaves a few questions unanswered.Someone like me looking to understand the first principles and understand things from scratch, i am left scratching my head at the end of the chapter - Did i really learn something concrete and useful? Not sure - It leaves you exasperatedOverall, i will not recommend this book. I will be going through some other titles on python and data analytics

This book will give you just basic understanding about DS topics also not in much descriptive way. if anyone want to learn DS from scratch then i will suggest this is not the right book.

I though this book was going to be some concepts from scratch but it turns out to be a half - done python tutorial ...

A good book to start data science with!!! All concepts given in clear manner!!! Only demerit is Python 2
