07 FJ Plug-n-Play
The media could not be loaded. Installed 2 weeks ago, great so far. Pretty much plug and play. Here are a few things to share:1. Quality seems good. Materials feel mostly on par with factory. "Made in Taiwan" labels on box and product2. Same mounting points and plugs as factory (besides the DRL's). Easy plug and play3. Same vertical and horizontal adjustment screw locations as factory and both can be adjusted when fully installed. Horizontal screw is near the top with easy access to adjust. Vertical screw is much lower and requires a long phillips screwdriver inserted through a hole near the top mounting point to reach, exactly like factory. See attached pic.4. Mine required moderate amount of vertical and horizontal adjustments (and maybe even rotations, but I didn't see a way to adjust this). Out-of-box, they were pointed way too low and "toed-out". There are plenty online videos on how to aim your headlights. Attached pic shows after adjustments (with LED bulbs). FYI. These are labelled "VOL". See attached pic. This means you align vertically to the "left" of the cutoff "step"5. Comes pre-installed with 65W H9 halogen bulbs which were still quite dim. I switched to these 60W H11 LED's and they're a lot brighter, much brighter than my BMW factory LED projectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDK7Z7GY. See attached video6. Low and high beams use the same bulb. High beams just lift the mechanical cut-off out of the way. Everything works properly out-of-box on my 077. The LED halo DRL's come with separate dedicated bare wires (+/-). You'll need to figure out the rest. I measured about half Amp draw per side with a multimeter. So they draw ~6-7W each side8. I made custom wires with waterproof plugs to connect left and right DRL's to the DRL fuse (#13) in the engine bay using add-a-circuit fuse adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0742BZXC2. See attached pic. Since both DRL's draw ~1 Amp combined, I used a 2A fuse. I also disconnected the factory DRL circuit plug behind/below the driver-side headlamp. New DRL's now come on automatically just like factory. 07 does not have a DRL switch on the stalk, they just work automatically so not sure if this installation method would work on other model years. See attached pic of DRL's running automatically without any other lights on. By the way, DRL's are bright and very visible in broad day light but do not use them as low beams at night as they would not light up the road

Great upgrade.
Love the way they look. Significant improvement to light on the road. I choose these to keep the retro type look to the FJ. I’ve had it for about 5 years now, it’s about time I made some of these mods.Has DRL, lo and high beam. It looks like that’s just a change in the shutter positions to let more light out.I have my DRL unplugged so I tapped into the parking lights for my LED power. I used these 2in-2out wire connectors. I chose to do it close to the light. Figured it would be easier to add a plug back on than to splice wire if I ever take it off or replace them.

As described
The lights look great. I paid someone a $120 to install them. I’m not good with this stuff. Love them.

Good quality and high beam
The media could not be loaded. Best headlights and also you have high beam as well if you use H11 bulbs lights

Awesome Upgrade
The install of the headlights is plug and play. Simple install. The halo will need to connected separately which I tied to my marker light. I had a neighbor to help me with that but only took 20 mins. So far so good and looks great!

No high beam
High beam function does not work in either light. They also use a diode to try to isolate the low/high feed from the vehicle and according to my heat gun the diode is heating up to about 260 degrees. Something is not designed or wired correctly.UPDATE - customer service was great and sent a new set of lights, however they have the exact same problem. My guess is that they did not take into account the changes to the headlight circuit when Toyota omitted the daylight running lamps and the result is that the lights only work for certain years. When I turn on the low beams, the high beam in the light is activated. When I turn on the high beams, the lights turn off. Amerilite is sticking to the excuse that the problem is with my vehicle, yet they can't explain why my factory lights work just fine and why theirs don't work. Reading through the reviews shows that I am NOT the only person who has issues with the lights. It would be great if Amerilite would try to actually diagnose the issue instead of ignoring the flaw and writing it off as a problem with my vehicle.
