⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend – Stunning Purple Results! I purchased Ion Permanent Brights Crème Hair Color in Radiant Orchid, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I ordered two boxes since my hair is long (about halfway down my torso), and I definitely recommend doing the same if you have longer or thicker hair. For reference, my hair was previously dyed purple using box dye, and I did not lighten it before applying this product. I mixed both boxes together with 10-volume developer in a reusable dye bottle and applied it as a full-head application. The color turned out absolutely incredible a rich, vibrant, and beautiful purple that looks very professional. Honestly, this dye has completely converted me to salon-grade hair color. If you’re considering going purple, this is 100% the dye you want. The only minor downside is the very strong smell, but that’s pretty standard with salon-quality hair dye, so it didn’t bother me much. I’ve attached a photo, though it truly doesn’t do the color justice (my daughter was asleep, so I couldn’t take a better one). After rinsing with cold water only, I applied conditioner and left it in for about 5 minutes. My hair feels soft, healthy, and undamaged, no dryness or stiffness at all. Overall, I’m extremely impressed. 5/5 stars, you’ve definitely gained a loyal customer!

I have been using this dye for many months now. It leaves my hair super black for a long time. If it gets on my skin, it's easy to get off with water. I haven't had to worry about a stain on my skin after coloring. Some marks are a little more difficult to get off if they stay on for the whole process, but still come of fairly easily with water and a rag/towel. The process I do that has made it last longer was: • Wash my un-dyed hair with shampoo only before coloring (no conditioner for this one) • Wait 24 hours from last hair wash to color (My hair gets oily fast, so 48 hours is too long for me). The oils help lessen the damage to your hair but too much oil has been a problem for me. • After I dye, rinse with cold water til the water runs clear and use the ION color sealer (this stuff genuinely works. You can use it a couple times a week after you dye too). I do not use shampoo or conditioner on this step so the color can settle in. • Wait 48 hours to wash hair again and wash every other day after that. This is when you can use conditioner again. When I started doing that I saw a big difference. Of course, make sure you tailor it to your hair type, but this is what's worked for me. The nice thing about this dye is that while it does make a little color come out during shampooing for some washes, it doesn't stain anything and doesn't run with just water. That means if it rains you won't have to worry! It doesn't get on my clothes at all if it gets wet like temporary colors.

The first thing you need to know is that to properly use this product you need to get either 10 volume developer or 20 volume developer and dilute by half. Once you have mixed this product with the appropriate developer, then I think you will be very pleased with the results. The smell is not unpleasant, the product has a great texture going on, and it100% covered even my gray hair. I am extremely pleased with the results. I personally decided to leave it on for 40 minutes because I have very very resistant to dye hair. After I rinsed it out completely, I did apply a conditioner, which I left on for about five minutes before rinsing it off. In my opinion, the results are spectacular. The color is deep and rich and vibrant. My hair is also soft. Obviously, I am extremely pleased with this product.

HORRENDUS PRODUCT This product promised a vibrant purple outcome. I used this product on my bleached hair, as recommended let it sit in for over an Hour but my hair is now patchy partially pink or not colored at all. I have very Short hair and used the whole bottle all over my hair. I died and bleached my hair many times before with different Brands and was always happy with the result. This is absolutely ridicoulus and I expect a full refund.

I’ve been searching for a permanent red dye for bleached hair, and this worked so well. Instructions said to use 10 volume developer but I only had 20, so I used 1oz 20 volume and 1oz water and it worked perfectly. Will update on how it fades UPDATE!! 2nd picture is ~8 weeks after I dyed it. It stuck around pretty well for ~7 weeks, then got pretty orangey. (I shower in coldish water every other day and swim once a week) It only lasted a little bit longer than my usual semi-permanent, which it a bit frustrating considering this is supposed to be permanent. PROS: DOESN'T STAIN ANYTHING!! decently long lasting, perfect color CONS: damages hair a bit, doesn't last as long as I'd like, dying process is a bit involved Overall, it depends on what you're looking for. if you'd rather have less damage, easy application, and are ok with a pink shower and pillowcases, I highly recommend adore semi-permanent dye. If you want it to stick around a little longer and not stain anything, choose this! Personally, I think I'll keep using this, considering I'm going into college and will be sharing a bathroom.

I’ve tried a lot of at-home black hair dyes, and Ion’s 1V Jet Black is hands down one of the best. The color comes out rich, glossy, and truly jet black, not flat or blue-tinted like some others. I love that it’s vegan, cruelty free, and PPD free, which makes it much gentler on my scalp. It has great gray coverage and lasts much longer than I expected—my color still looks fresh even after several washes. Definitely recommend pairing it with the Ion developer for the best results.

I decided to try this hair dye after being reassured by its claim of being PPD-free, as I have a known sensitivity to PPD. Unfortunately, during the patch test, I experienced skin rashes and irritation—exactly the kind of reaction I was hoping to avoid. This raises serious concerns: either the product is not genuinely PPD-free, or it contains another equally harmful chemical causing similar reactions. The whole point of purchasing a product labeled "PPD-free" is to avoid such issues, and this one completely failed to deliver on its promise. If you have sensitive skin or chemical allergies, I’d recommend being cautious with this product. For me, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Transparency about ingredients is critical, and this product left me with more questions than trust.

I’ve previously dyed my hair many times and my hair has never fallen out, but with this product that I’ve never used it did. It’s not even worth it because the colour did nothing to my hair

No difference in the hair color. Difficult to actually find the instructions. When I finally did on the inside of package the print was so small I needed a magnifying glass to read and even then it was unclear. Terrible smell. Would not recommend this product to anyone.
