It is lead free. I emailed the manufacturer and a representative responded assuring me that the carafe is lead free.

My carafe holds 15 oz. I leave about 1-1/2" from the top free of water so it actually holds a bit more.

The drinking glass is 3 1/2 to 4 inches high.

what size ball stopper would be needed for this if I wanted to buy one? 2.5 inches? Not sure

I haven’t used a ball stopper but I measured the opening and it is 2” circumference.
